 नमस्कार दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि भगवान शिव को समर्पित तमिलनाडु के बृहदेश्वर मंदिर पूरी तरह से ग्रेनाइट पत्थरों से निर्मित है।साथ ही साथ दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने की बात यह है कि पूरे संसार में मंदिर अपनी तरह का एक मंदिर है जो कि सबसे कठोर पत्थर ग्रेनाइट से बना हुआ है जिस पर नक्काशी करना ही अपने आप में अद्भुत है क्योंकि पूरा का पूरा मंदिर ग्रेनाइट से बना हुआ है जो हमें आश्चर्य में डाल देता है।

            दोस्तों माना जाता है कि इजिप्ट के पिरामिडों के रहस्यों का उजागर तो किया जा सकता है लेकिन अपने भारत के तंजावुर शहर के इस महान बृहदेश्वर मंदिर के रहस्य को उजागर करना असंभव है।

                 दोस्तों अपने विशिष्ट वास्तुकला के लिए यह मंदिर जाना जाता है दोस्तों 130000 टन ग्रेनाइट पत्थरों से इसका निर्माण किया गया है लेकिन आश्चर्य की बात यह है कि ग्रेनाइट पत्थर इस इलाके के आसपास भी नहीं पाया जाता है और यह रहस्य आज तक रहस्य ही बना हुआ है कि इतनी भारी मात्रा में ग्रेनाइट पत्थर लाया कहां से गया था। दोस्तों उस जमाने में वास्तुकारो  ने बहुत ही सोच समझ कर इस मंदिर का निर्माण किया होगा। साथ ही दोस्तों इस मंदिर की दुर्ग की ऊंचाई भी संसार में सर्वाधिक है।

दोस्तों तंजावुर का पेरिया कोविल यानी बड़ा मंदिर विशाल दीवारों से घिरा हुआ है ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों से पता चलता है कि इस मंदिर की नींव 16वीं शताब्दी में रखी गई थी। दोस्तों इस मंदिर की ऊंचाई 216 फुट है और दोस्तों संभवत यह संसार का सबसे ऊंचा मंदिर है जो पूर्ण रूप से ग्रेनाइट पत्थरों से बना हुआ है।दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से मंदिर का कलश जो कि सबसे ऊपर स्थापित है केवल एक ही ग्रेनाइट पत्थर को तराश कर बनाया गया है जो कि उस काल में असंभव था और आज के आधुनिक युग में भी असंभव है। दोस्तों इस कलश का वजन 80 टन है और दोस्तों साथ ही साथ प्रवेश द्वार पर स्थित नंदी बाबा की मूर्ति जो कि 16 फुट लंबी और 13 फुट ऊंची है एक ही ग्रेनाइट पत्थर को तराश कर बनाई गई है।

            दोस्तों आज से हजारों वर्ष पूर्व 80 टन का पत्थर मंदिर के ऊपर कैसे चढ़ाया गया होगा यह भी एक अनसुलझा रहस्य ही है।साथ ही साथ दोस्तों ग्रेनाइट पत्थर की खदानें जो कि मंदिर के 100 किलोमीटर की दूरी के क्षेत्र में कहीं भी मौजूद नहीं है दोस्तों यह रहस्य तो है ही साथ ही साथ यह भी हैरानी की बात है कि ग्रेनाइट पत्थर के ऊपर नक्काशी करना ही बहुत कठिन है क्योंकि आज के आधुनिक युग में भी मशीनों से ही बड़ी कठिनाई से ग्रेनाइट के पत्थरों पर नक्काशी की जाती है।

दोस्तों बृहदेश्वर मंदिर को पेरूवुदईयार कोविल , तंजई पेरिया कोविल  व राजाराजेश्वरम मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। दोस्तों इस मंदिर की एक और विशेषता यह है कि गोपुरम की छाया जमीन पर पढ़ती ही नहीं है।दोस्तों पिरामिड कि वह आकृति जो दक्षिण भारत के मंदिरों के मुख्य द्वार पर स्थित होता है उसे ही गोपुरम के नाम से जाना जाता है।दोस्तों मंदिर के अंदर स्थित भित्ति चित्रों में से एक जिसमें भगवान शिव असुरों के किलो का विनाश कर नृत्य कर रहे हैं बहुत ही सुंदर ढंग से चित्रित किया गया है और इसी भित्ति चित्र में भगवान शिव एक  श्रद्धालु को स्वर्ग पहुंचाने के लिए एक सफेद हाथी भेज रहे हैं जो बहुत ही अद्भुत है दोस्तों बहुत ही सुंदर तरीके से इन चित्रों को ग्रेनाइट के पत्थरों पर उकेरा गया है। दोस्तों ये  भित्ति चित्र उस जमाने के बहुत ही उन्नत तकनीक को दर्शाते हैं।

          दोस्तों बहुत ही आश्चर्य होता है हमें यह देखकर कि उस जमाने में हमारे पूर्वज ना जाने किस उच्च तकनीक का प्रयोग करते थे जिसे शायद ही हम कभी जान पाएंगे।

  नमस्कार दोस्तों उनाकोटी जोकि त्रिपुरा के घने जंगलों में मौजूद है दोस्तों यहीं पर मौजूद है पहाड़ों और चट्टानों को काटकर बनाए गए रहस्यमई और अलौकिक भगवान शिव एवं समस्त देवी देवताओं की मूर्तियां।

       दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से एक या हजारों भी नहीं बल्कि एक करोड़ मूर्तियां मौजूद है यहां पर। दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने वाली बात यह है कि आज तक इन मूर्तियों का लिखित इतिहास नहीं मिल पाया है कि इन मूर्तियों को किसने बनाया और कब बनाया था ? आज भी रहस्य बना हुआ है दोस्तों माना जाता है कि इन मूर्तियों का निर्माण लाखो वर्ष पूर्व किया गया था। लेकिन दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने वाली बात यह है कि जब ईसा पूर्व मनुष्य की इतनी उन्नत सभ्यता मौजूद नहीं थी तो लाखों वर्ष पूर्व इन मूर्तियों का निर्माण किसने किया था।क्योंकि दोस्तों आज के वर्तमान युग में भी शायद हम अत्याधुनिक मशीनों की मदद से भी इन जैसी मूर्तियों का निर्माण नहीं कर सकते हैं।

दोस्तों पुरातात्विक खोजों के आधार पर कहा गया है कि इन मूर्तियों में से केवल एक मूर्ति कम है एक करोड़ की संख्या को प्राप्त करने में , शायद इसी कारण से इस जगह का नाम उनाकोटी पड़ा है।लेकिन दोस्तों स्थानीय लोगों का मानना है कि यहां पर पूरे एक करोड़ देवी देवताओं की मूर्तियां मौजूद है जिनमें से एक मूर्ति अद्भुत रूप से अलौकिक और रहस्यमई है जो हमें खुली आंखों से दिखाई नहीं देती है जो कहीं इन्हीं पहाड़ियों में अति गुप्त रूप से मौजूद है जिसे खोजा जाना अभी बाकी है।

          दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि एक करोड़ मूर्तियों का यह परिवार केवल भारत में ही नहीं बल्कि  मंगोलिया , रूस व अमेरिका तक में फैला हुआ है जो अलग-अलग नामों एवं पहचान के साथ मौजूद है। लेकिन दोस्तों उनाकोटी की बात ही कुछ और है अद्भुत अलौकिक और हमारे पूर्वजों की अनमोल धरोहर है।

 नमस्कार दोस्तों यह एक विशाल ग्रे - सफेद , ग्रेनाइट चट्टान से बने महिषासुरमर्दिनी मंडप के शीर्ष पर एक अविश्वसनीय व अलौकिक रूप से रहस्यमई इमारत है।दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक दस्तावेजों के अध्ययन से पता चलता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण 1391 वर्ष पहले पल्लव राजा महेंद्र वर्मन प्रथम द्वारा निर्मित करवाया गया था। दोस्तों मशहूर महिषासुरमर्दिनी रॉक कट चट्टानी गुफा के ऊपर बना यह मंदिर यानी प्रकाश स्तंभ भगवान शिव को समर्पित है जो ओल्क्कन्नेश्वर मंदिर के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है।दोस्तों यह अति प्राचीन मंदिर प्रकाश स्तंभ के रूप में भी जाना जाता था , जो समुंद्र में नाविकों को मार्गदर्शन करता था।

 महिषासुरमर्दिनी मंडप  -  दोस्तों यह एक रॉक कट गुफा मंंदिर है जिसेे यमपुरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह एक पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। जो मामल्लपुरम  जिसे हम महाबलीपुरम केेेे नाम से भी जानते हैं , मे मौजूद है। यह तमिलनाडु राज्य के चेन्नई शहर के दक्षिण में मौजूद एक छोटा सा समुद्र तटीय  गांव है। और यहीं पर मौजूद है एशिया का सबसे प्राचीन प्रकाश स्तंभ।

दोस्तों यह प्राचीन मंदिर यूनेस्को विश्व धरोहर  स्थल स्मारकों के समूहों का एक हिस्सा है। दोस्तों इस गुफा को पल्लव वंश के राजा नरसिंहवर्मन महामाला जो कि 630 से 668 ईसवी में इस क्षेत्र में शासन करते थे के समय का बताया जाता है। और माना जाता है कि इन्हीं के नाम पर इस शहर का नाम भी रखा गया था।दोस्तों गुफा की वास्तुकला को उन महान धार्मिक विषयों की निरंतरता भी कहा जाता है जो आश्चर्यजनक रूप से पश्चिम भारत में उकेरे गए थे। साथ ही साथ दोस्तों गुफा अपने स्तंभों में वास्तुकला की एक संक्रमणकालीन शैली को भी दर्शाती है जो गुफा के अंदर की दीवारों पर उकेरे गए शेर और अन्य भित्ति चित्रों के रूप में मौजूद हैं जो पल्लव राजाओं महेंद्रवर्मन और नरसिंह वर्मन के शासनकाल के दौरान विकसित हुई थी , जिन्हें मामल्ला के नाम से भी जाना जाता था। दोस्तों इस शैली को मामल्ला के बेटे परमेश्वर वर्मन प्रथम ने जारी किया था।दोस्तों पुरातात्विक और ऐतिहासिक शोधों ने प्रमाणित किया है कि महाबलीपुरम शहर की स्थापना तब की गई थी जब इसका नाम मामल्ला के नाम पर रखा गया था। दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों के आधार पर कहा जा सकता है कि वर्ष 650 ईसवी के दौरान ही इन गुफाओं व रथो का निर्माण किया गया था।

 दोस्तों आप देख सकते हो कि महिषासुरमर्दिनी मंडप महाबलीपुरम शहर के एक पहाड़ी श्रृंखला के ऊपर मौजूद है जो कोरोमंडल तट के बंगाल की खाड़ी यानी हिंद महासागर के तट पर मौजूद है।दोस्तों या चेन्नई शहर से 5 किलोमीटर दूर और चिंगलपेट से लगभग 32 किलोमीटर दूर है और दोस्तों यही पर मौजूद है एशिया का सबसे प्राचीन प्रकाश स्तंभ जिसे ओलक्कन्नेश्वर मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। दोस्तों यह अद्भुत है , अलौकिक है और अकल्पनीय है ।दोस्तों मेरे पास शब्द नहीं है कि मैं अपने पूर्वजों के बारे में दो शब्द कहूं वे  अद्भुत थे।

 Mahishasuramardini Mandap - Friends, this is a rock cut cave temple also known as Yampuri.  It is situated on a hill.  Which is present in Mamallapuram which we also know as Mahabalipuram.  It is a small seaside village in the south of Chennai city of Tamil Nadu state.  And it is here that Asia's oldest lighthouse.

 Friends, this ancient temple is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site monument groups.  Friends, this cave is said to be from the time of King Narasimhavarman Mahamala of Pallava dynasty who ruled the region from 630 to 668 AD.  And it is believed that the city was also named after them. The architecture of the two caves is also said to be a continuation of the great religious themes that were wonderfully carved in western India.  At the same time, the Friends cave depicts in its pillars a transitional style of architecture that exists in the form of lions and other murals carved on the walls inside the cave which flourished during the reigns of the Pallava kings Mahendravarman and Narasimha Varman.  , Also known as Mamalla.  Friends, this style was issued by Mamalla's son Parmeshwar Varman I.
