नमस्कार दोस्तों भारतवर्ष के राजस्थान राज्य में स्थित रणकपुर जैन धर्म के पांच प्रमुख तीर्थ स्थलों में से एक है। दोस्तों यह स्थल खूबसूरती से तराशे गए प्राचीन जैन मंदिरों के लिए विश्व प्रसिद्ध है। दोस्तों इन मंदिरों का निर्माण 15 वी शतब्दी में महाराजा राणा कुंभा के शासनकाल में किया गया था। दोस्तों महाराजा राणा कुंभा के नाम पर ही इस जगह का नाम रणकपुर पड़ा है। दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि यहां के जैन मंदिर प्राचीन भारतीय स्थापत्य कला का अद्भुत धरोहर है। दोस्तों केवल रणकपुर में ही नहीं बल्कि इसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में भी अनेक प्राचीन मंदिर मौजूद है। दोस्तों सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि यहां जैन धर्म में आस्था रखने वालों के साथ-साथ वास्तुशिल्प में दिलचस्पी रखने वालों को भी रणकपुर बहुत ही पसंद है।
दोस्तों रणकपुर का जैन मंदिर का मुख्य मंदिर प्रथम जैन तीर्थंकर आदिनाथ को समर्पित चौमुखा मंदिर है।दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि यह मंदिर चारों दिशाओं में खुलता है दोस्तों प्राचीन ऐतिहासिक दस्तावेजों से पता चलता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण सन 1440 में किया गया था। दोस्तों खूबसूरत संगमरमर के पत्थरों से बने इस अद्भुत व खूबसूरत मंदिर में 29 विशाल कमरे मौजूद हैं। जहां दोस्तों 1444 खंभे लगे हुए हैं।दोस्तों इन खंभों की सबसे बड़ी खासियत यह है कि यह सभी खंभे एक दूसरे से बिल्कुल भिन्न है।दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से मंदिर के पास के गलियारे में बने मंडपों में सभी 24 तीर्थंकरों की तस्वीरें उकेरी गई है।
दोस्तों इन सभी मंडपों में शिखर बने हुए हैं।और इन शिखरों के ऊपर घंटियां लगी हुई है। दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से जब हवाएं चलने लगती है तब इन घंटियों की आवाज पूरे मंदिर परिसर में गूंजने लगती है जिससे यहां का वातावरण शुद्ध एवं पवित्र हो जाती है।
दोस्तों मंदिर परिसर में ही जैन तीर्थंकर नोमीनाथ और जैन तीर्थंकर पार्श्वनाथ को समर्पित 2 मंदिर हैं दोस्तो इन मंदिरों की अद्भुत नक्काशी देखकर खजुराहो की याद आ जाती है।
दोस्तों मंदिर परिसर लगभग 40000 वर्ग फीट में फैला है दोस्तों जैसा कि ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों से पता चलता है कि करीब 600 वर्ष पूर्व 1440 ईस्वी में इस मंदिर का निर्माण कार्य प्रारंभ हुआ था जो 50 वर्षों से अधिक समय तक चला था। दोस्तों उस जमाने में इस मंदिर के निर्माण में करीब 7700000 रुपए का खर्च आया था।
दोस्तों मंदिर में चार कलात्मक प्रवेश द्वार बने हुए हैं दोस्तों साथ ही मंदिर के मुख्य गृह में जैन तीर्थंकर आदिनाथ की संगमरमर से बनी चार विशाल मूर्तियां मौजूद हैं। दोस्तों करीब 72 इंच ऊंची यह मूर्तियां चार अलग-अलग दिशाओं की ओर उन्मुख है। इसी कारण से इस मंदिर को चतुर्मुख मंदिर कहा जाता है। दोस्तों इसके अलावे मंदिर में 76 छोटे-छोटे गुम्बदनुमा पवित्र स्थान व चार बड़े प्रार्थना कक्ष एवं चार बड़े पूजा स्थल मौजूद हैं।दोस्तों ये सभी आश्चर्यजनक रूप से मनुष्यों को जीवन- मृत्यु की 8400000 जीवयोनियो से मुक्ति प्राप्त कर मोक्ष प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रेरित करती है।
दोस्तों आप देखोगे कि उस समय के मंदिर के निर्माताओं ने जहां कलात्मक दो मंजिला भवन का निर्माण किया और वही भविष्य में किसी संकट का गहन अनुमान लगाते हुए कई गुप्त तहखाने भी बनाएं। ताकि इन तहखानों में पवित्र मूर्तियों को सुरक्षित रखा जा सके।यानी दोस्तों देखा जाए तो ये तहखाने मंदिर के निर्माताओं के निर्माण संबंधी दूरदर्शिता का परिचय देते हैं।
दोस्तों साथ ही मंदिर के उत्तर क्षेत्र में रायन पेड़ स्थित है। दोस्तों इसके अलावे संगमरमर के टुकड़े पर भगवान ऋषभदेव के पदचिन्ह मौजूद हैं दोस्तों ये सभी भगवान ऋषभदेव एवं शंत्रुजय की शिक्षाओं को याद दिलाते हैं।
दोस्तों कुछ भी हो रणकपुर की प्राचीन जैन मंदिर अपनी विशालता एवं भव्यता को लिए हुए आज भी शान से खड़ी है।
दोस्तों आप रणकपुर की प्राचीन जैन मंदिर की यात्रा वायु मार्ग , रेल मार्ग और सड़क मार्ग के द्वारा कर सकते हैं।
वायु मार्ग - नजदीकी हवाई अड्डा उदयपुर है। दिल्ली और मुंबई से यहां के लिए नियमित उड़ानें हैं।
