नमस्कार दोस्तों मैं माउंटेन लैपर्ड महेंद्रा आप सभी लोगों का हार्दिक अभिनंदन करता हूं दोस्तों आज की यात्रा पर मैं आपको लेकर चल रहा हूं तमिलनाडु स्थित श्रीरंगनाथ स्वामी मंदिर जहां मौजूद है भारत के सबसे महान संत का मृत भौतिक शरीर संरक्षित अवस्था में। दोस्तों जिनके दर्शन मात्र से श्रद्धालुओं की मनोकामना पूर्ण होती है।तो आइए दोस्तों चलते हैं श्री रंगनाथस्वामी मंदिर की यात्रा पर जो तमिलनाडु के तिरुचिरापल्ली के श्रीरंगम में मौजूद है।

नमस्कार दोस्तों जैसा कि आप सभी को पता है कि पूरी दुनिया के लोग मिस्र देश की प्राचीन राजाओं के मृत शरीर यानी जिसे हम सभी "ममी" के नाम से जानते हैं और साथ ही भारत के गोवा राज्य में "सेंटजेवियर" के संरक्षित शरीर को देख हैरान होते हैं।
लेकिन दोस्तों दुर्भाग्यवश बहुत ही कम लोगों को इस बात की जानकारी है कि मिस्र के राजाओं के मृत शरीर जिस वस्त्र से लपेटे जाते थे वह वस्त्र जिसे मस्लीन कहा जाता है भारतवर्ष से ही आयातित होते थे।जिनका उपयोग मिस्र के लोग अपने मृत राजाओं के शरीर को लपेटने में क्या करते थे। यानी दोस्तों ममीफाइड करने में , और साथ ही इन कपड़ों पर विभिन्न प्रकार के जड़ी बूटियों का लेपन का भी उपयोग किया जाता था जो संभवत भारत से आयातित होते थे।
दोस्तों भारतवर्ष के राज्य तमिलनाडु का जिला तिरुचिरापल्ली के श्रीरंगम स्थित पवित्र श्री रंगनाथस्वामी मंदिर जिसे भारतवर्ष के सबसे बड़े मंदिर परिसर होने का गौरव प्राप्त है। और दोस्तों यही पर मौजूद है भारत के प्राचीनतम संरक्षित शरीर ।
दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि विशिष्ट द्वैत दर्शन के महान आचार्य और श्री वैष्णव परंपरा के अग्रणी संत स्वामी रामानुजाचार्य का पद्मासन भौतिक शरीर विगत 878 सालों से संरक्षित रखा जा रहा है। जो अपने आप में अद्भुत और अलौकिक है दोस्तों।दोस्तों महान संत के शरीर को सन 1137 से अब तक सुरक्षित रखा जा रहा है यानी मिस्र देश की ममी की तरह।
दोस्तों सबसे आश्चर्यचकित करने वाली बात यह है कि भारत के इस महान संत के भौतिक शरीर का साक्षात दर्शन करने के लिए मंदिर प्रांगण में ही रखा हुआ है जिसे भक्तगण आसानी से देख सकते हैं।
दोस्तों प्रसिद्ध श्री रंगनाथस्वामी मंदिर के पांचवे परिक्रमा पथ पर स्थित श्री रामानुज मंदिर के दक्षिण पश्चिम कोने पर यह भौतिक शरीर संरक्षित है।
दोस्तों महान संत रामानुजाचार्य 120 वर्ष तक जीवित रहे थे। दोस्तों सन 1137 ईस्वी में उन्होंने पद्मासन अवस्था में ही समाधि ले ली थी।
दोस्तों स्वयं श्री रंगनाथस्वामी जी के आदेश से उसी अवस्था में संत रामानुजाचार्य के शिष्यों ने उनके भौतिक शरीर को संरक्षित रख लिया था।दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से इस संरक्षित शरीर में आंखें , नाखून आदि स्पष्ट दिखाई देती है। दोस्तों सड़न से बचने के लिए इस शरीर पर रोजाना किसी भी प्रकार का अभिषेक नहीं किया जाता है ।दोस्तों केवल वर्ष में दो बार विभिन्न प्रकार के जड़ी-बूटियों से इस शरीर को साफ किया जाता है और उसी समय उस भौतिक शरीर पर चंदन और केसर का लेपन किया जाता है। ताकि शरीर सुरक्षित रह सके।
दोस्तों इस मंदिर प्रांगण में संत रामानुजाचार्य द्वारा इस्तेमाल किया हुआ एक बॉक्स आज भी मंदिर के अंदर रखा हुआ है जिसे देखा जा सकता है।
दोस्तों उल्लेखनीय बात यह है कि इस पावन और पवित्र स्थान का गोवा या मिश्र जैसा कोई प्रचार-प्रसार नहीं किया जाता है।
दोस्तों उनके शरीर को एक मूर्ति में संरक्षित रखा गया है और आज भी भक्तों के दर्शन के लिए खुला है दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने वाली बात यह है कि आज भी इस पवित्र मृत भौतिक शरीर के नाखून बढ़ रहे हैं। जिसे देखकर यहां पर आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं के मन अलौकिकता से आनंदित हो उठती है।
दोस्तों अद्भुत और अलौकिक है भारतीय संस्कृति के ध्वजवाहक यानी हमारे पूर्वज जिनकी संरचनाएं जो आज भी विश्व को अचंभित कर देती है।
