 दोस्तों प्राचीन एकलिंग्वेश्वर महादेव मंदिर भारतवर्ष के राजस्थान राज्य के जयपुर शहर में स्थित एक प्राचीन शिवालय है। दोस्तों इस प्राचीन शिवालय के भवन यानी मंदिर का निर्माण आमेर जयपुर के "कुशवाहा" राजवंश के महाराजा "सवाई" जयसिंह द्वितीय जी ने अपने देखरेख में करवाया था।

          दोस्तों उस समय के दस्तावेजों में दर्ज है कि मंदिर की नक्काशी जयपुर रियासत काल के प्रसिद्ध वास्तुविद ब्राह्मण विद्याधर जी ने की थी।

☀️ दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से यह अलौकिक सिवालय वर्ष में सिर्फ एक ही बार महाशिवरात्रि के दिन खुलता है। ☀️

 दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि हमारे भारतवर्ष के प्राचीन इतिहास और उसकी ऐतिहासिक घटनाओं की अभिव्यक्ति करने वाले अनेकों प्राचीन दिव्य मंदिर मौजूद है। दोस्तों उन्हीं में से एक है जयपुर स्थित अलौकिक एकलिंग्वेश्वर महादेव मंदिर।

          दोस्तों इस प्राचीन मंदिर की दीवारें जहां प्राचीन राजस्थान की गुलाबी नगरी के इतिहास की अनेकों दंतकथाएं अपने अंदर छुपाई हुई है। दोस्तों वही एक और अद्भुत अलौकिकता इसे भारत के अन्य मंदिरों से अलग बनाती है।

                  दोस्तों इस महादेव मंदिर के दरवाजे श्रद्धालुगण के लिए केवल शिवरात्रि के दिन ही खोले जाते हैं दोस्तों एकलिंग्वेश्वर  महादेव को अत्यंत पवित्र और चमत्कारी माना  गया है।दोस्तों ऐतिहासिकता व मान्यताओं के आधार पर कहा जाता है कि यह प्राचीन मंदिर हमारी सोच से भी ज्यादा पुरानी है यानी दोस्तों जयपुर शहर के बसने से हजारों वर्ष पहले ही इस स्थान पर पवित्र शिवलिंग की स्थापना हो चुकी थी।

 ☀️दोस्तों एकलिंग्वेश्वर मंदिर अपने आप में किसी चमत्कारी घटना से कम नहीं है।☀️

 दोस्तों प्राचीन एक लिंगवे स्वर महादेव मंदिर भगवान भोलेनाथ शिव को समर्पित है दोस्तों जहां मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में भगवान शिव चमत्कारी शिवलिंग के रूप में विराजमान हैं । वहीं दोस्तों आश्चर्य की बात यह है कि बाबा भोलेनाथ के साथ ना तो माता पार्वती , भगवान गणेश और कार्तिकेय जी     भी नहीं मौजूद है ।

            दोस्तों कहां जाता है कि प्रारंभ में भगवान शिव के साथ शिव परिवार की भी स्थापना की गई थी , लेकिन अद्भुत रूप से कुछ समय बाद शिव परिवार की सभी प्रतिमाएं अपने आप गायब हो गई थी।

        जिसके बाद दोस्तों पुनः एक बार शिव परिवार की स्थापना की गई थी , लेकिन पुनः चमत्कारी रूप से शिव परिवार अदृश्य हो गए थे।दोस्तों कहां जाता है कि इन अलौकिक घटनाओं के बाद फिर से शिव परिवार की मूर्तियों को स्थापित करने का साहस किसी में नहीं हुआ । तब से लेकर आज तक भगवान भोलेनाथ अकेले इस प्राचीन मंदिर में विराजमान हैं।

☀️दोस्तों स्थानीय लोगों से पता चलता है कि यहां रियासत काल में राज परिवार की ओर से पूजा अर्चना की जाती थी। तथा श्रावण माह में रुद्राभिषेक व सहस्त्रघाट का आयोजन किया जाता था दोस्तों आज भी मंदिर की रखरखाव की व्यवस्था जयपुर राज परिवार की तरफ से ही किया जाता है।

 Friends Ancient Eklingveshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient pagoda located in Jaipur city of Rajasthan state of India.  Friends, the building of this ancient pagoda i.e. temple was built by Maharaja "Sawai" Jai Singh II of "Kushwaha" dynasty of Amer Jaipur under his supervision.

 Friends, it is recorded in the documents of that time that the carving of the temple was done by Brahmin Vidyadhar ji, a famous architect of the princely state of Jaipur.

 ️ Friends, surprisingly this supernatural pagoda opens only once in a year on the day of Mahashivratri.  ️

 Friends, the doors of this Mahadev temple are opened for the devotees only on the day of Shivratri. Friends, Eklingveshwar, Mahadev is considered to be extremely holy and miraculous. Friends, it is said on the basis of historicity and beliefs that this ancient temple is older than our thinking.  That is, thousands of years before the settlement of Jaipur city, the holy Shivling was established at this place.

 Friends, the ancient one Lingaway Swara Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Bholenath Shiva, where Lord Shiva is seated in the form of a miraculous Shivling in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.  On the other hand, the surprising thing is that neither Mata Parvati, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya ji are present with Baba Bholenath and at the same time Baba Nandi is also not present, friends.

 Where does friends go that initially Shiva family was also established with Lord Shiva, but after some time amazingly all the idols of Shiva family disappeared on their own.

 After which friends once again the Shiva family was established, but again miraculously the Shiva family had disappeared.               दोस्तों भारत वर्ष के मध्य प्रदेश राज्य के खजुराहो ग्राम में मौजूद है अति प्राचीन मतंगेश्वर महादेव मंदिर प्रांगण जो अपने अद्भुत वास्तुकला और कामसूत्र पर आधारित मंदिर की दीवारों पर बनाई गई मूर्तियों के लिए विश्व प्रसिद्ध है।

                   दोस्तों मान्यता है कि खजुराहो गांव में मंदिरों का निर्माण केवल पूजा पाठ के उद्देश्य ही नहीं करवाया गया था बल्कि माना जाता है कि इनका उद्देश्य आम लोगों को यौन शिक्षा देने के साथ-साथ तांत्रिक पूजा भी संपन्न करवाने के लिए किया गया था।

       दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि भगवान शिव को समर्पित  अति प्राचीन मतंगेश्वर महादेव मंदिर में हजारों - हजार वर्षों यनी युगो युगो से शिव शंभू भोलेनाथ की पूजा आराधना होते आ रही है।

        दोस्तों मान्यता है कि इस अति प्राचीन महादेव मंदिर में कई चमत्कारी घटनएं घट चुकी है ।दोस्तों जिसकी वजह से हजारों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु गण प्रत्येक वर्ष भगवान शिव का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने संपूर्ण भारत से यहां आते हैं।

 दोस्तों एक प्रचलित दंतकथा के अनुसार माना जाता है कि मंदिर में स्थापित पवित्र शिवलिंग के नीचे एक चमत्कारी मणि मौजूद है जो शिव भक्तों की हर मनोकामना को पूर्ण करती है।

                      दोस्तों पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार भगवान भोलेनाथ शिव के पास "मरकत" "मणि" मौजूद थी। दोस्तों जिसे उन्होंने "पांडव" भाइयों में सबसे बड़े "युधिष्ठिर" को दे दिया था , उनसे प्रसन्न होकर।दोस्तों कहां जाता है कि आगे चलकर महाराज युधिष्ठिर ने चमत्कारी मणि को "मतंग" ऋषि को सौंप दिया था। जिसके बाद यह चमत्कारी मणि "मतंग" ऋषि ने राजा हर्षवर्मन को दे दिया था। 

                दोस्तों माना जाता है कि "मतंग" ऋषि के पास यह चमत्कारी मणि होने के कारण ही इस मंदिर का नाम मतंगेश्वर महादेव मंदिर पड़ा था।

           दोस्तों ऐसी मान्यता है या कहा जाता है कि "मतंग" ऋषि ने ही महादेव के 18 फीट के शिवलिंग के नीचे सुरक्षा के दृष्टिकोण से चमत्कारी मणि गाड़ दिया था।अतः दोस्तों कहां जा सकता है कि यहां इस मंदिर में अलौकिक मणि और भगवान भोलेनाथ का ही प्रताप है कि यहां भक्तों द्वारा मांगी गई हर मनोकामना पूर्ण होती है। 

 (अद्भुत रूप से हर वर्ष बढ़ जाती है शिव लिंग की आकार  )

 दोस्तों इस अति प्राचीन मंदिर का सबसे बड़ा आकर्षण है मंदिर में मौजूद ढाई मीटर ऊंचा शिवलिंग।दोस्तों अति प्राचीन मतंगेश्वर शिव मंदिर में मौजूद शिवलिंग के बारे में माना जाता है कि प्रत्येक वर्ष "तिल" के बराबर इसकी ऊंचाई बढ़ जाती है।दोस्तों खास बात यह भी है कि मतंगेश्वर महादेव मंदिर खजुराहो के सभी मंदिरों में सबसे पवित्र माना जाता है।

          दोस्तों गौर करने वाली एक और बात है कि खजुराहो में स्थित अन्य मंदिरों की तरह इस मंदिर के स्तंभों और दीवारों पर कामुक मूर्तियां आदि नहीं उकेरी गई है ।

       दोस्तों आज भी मतंगेश्वर महादेव मंदिर खजुराहो के सबसे पवित्र मंदिरों में से एक है जहां प्रतिदिन भक्त गणों का बड़ी संख्या में आना जाना लगा रहता है।

 ( दोस्तों इस प्राचीन मंदिर का निर्माण चंदेल राजाओं द्वारा 9 वीं सदी में करवाया गया था।  )

 दोस्तों दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों से पता चलता है कि खजुराहो का इतिहास लगभग 1000 वर्ष पुराना है ।दोस्तों खजुराहो शहर चंदेल वंश के शासकों की प्रथम राजधानी हुआ करती थी। दोस्तों चंदेल वंश और खजुराहो के संस्थापक चंद्र बर्मन थे। दोस्तों महाराज चंद्र बर्मन मध्यकाल में बुंदेलखंड में शासन करने वाले राजपूत राजा थे । वह अपने आप को चंद्रवंशी मानते थे।

 

   दोस्तों इस पवित्र शिवलिंग को मृत्युंजय महादेव के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

 Friends, present in Khajuraho village of Madhya Pradesh state of India, the very ancient Matangeshwar Mahadev temple courtyard which is world famous for its amazing architecture and sculptures made on the walls of the temple based on Kamasutra.

 Friends, it is believed that temples were built in Khajuraho village not only for the purpose of worship, but it is believed that their purpose was to give sex education to the common people as well as to conduct tantric worship.

 Friends, there is a belief among the people here that the Matangeshwar Mahadev temple premises located in village Khajuraho is the place where the marriage of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati took place.

 Friends, you will be surprised to know that in the very ancient Matangeshwar Mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the worship of Shiva Shambhu Bholenath has been worshiping since thousands of years.

 Friends, it is believed that many miraculous events have happened in this very ancient Mahadev temple. Friends, due to which thousands of devotees come here every year from all over India to get the blessings of Lord Shiva.

  (  It is believed that the miraculous "turquoise" "mani" is installed under the "shivalinga". )

 Friends, according to a popular legend, it is believed that a miraculous gem is present under the holy Shivling installed in the temple, which fulfills every wish of Shiva devotees.

 Friends, according to mythology, Lord Bholenath Shiva had "Turkaat" "Mani".  Pleased with the friends whom he gave to "Yudhishthira", the eldest of the "Pandava" brothers.  After which this miraculous gem was given by the sage "Matang" to King Harshvarman.

 Friends, it is believed that the name of this temple was named Matangeshwar Mahadev Temple due to the "Matang" sage having this miraculous gem.

 Friends, there is such a belief or it is said that the "Matang" sage had buried the miraculous gem under the 18 feet Shivling of Mahadev from the point of view of safety.  It is great that every wish sought by the devotees here is fulfilled.

 ( Amazingly the size of Shiva Linga increases every year. )

 Friends, the biggest attraction of this very ancient temple is the two and a half meter high Shivling present in the temple. Friends, the Shivling present in the very ancient Matangeshwar Shiva temple is believed to increase its height every year equal to "sesame".  It is also that Matangeshwar Mahadev Temple is considered to be the holiest of all the temples in Khajuraho.

 Friends, another thing to note is that unlike other temples located in Khajuraho, erotic sculptures etc. have not been carved on the pillars and walls of this temple.

 Friends, even today Matangeshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the most sacred temples of Khajuraho, where a large number of devotees keep visiting every day.

 Friends, historical sources show that the history of Khajuraho is about 1000 years old. Friends, the city of Khajuraho used to be the first capital of the rulers of Chandel dynasty.  The founders of the Chandela dynasty and Khajuraho were Chandra Burman.  Friends Maharaj Chandra Burman was a Rajput king who ruled in Bundelkhand in the medieval period.  He considered himself a Chandravanshi.

 Friends, this holy Shivling is also known as Mrityunjay Mahadev.
