 नमस्कार दोस्तों अपने समय कितने भव्य रहे होंगे बटेश्वर मंदिरों का समूह। दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि  बटेश्वर मंदिर लगभग 200 मंदिरों का एक समूह है जो बलुआ पत्थरों से निर्मित था। जो गुप्त कालीन उत्तर भारतीय मंदिर वास्तुकला के गुर्जर - प्रतिहार शैली में बना हुआ था। दोस्तों यह मंदिर समूह  ग्वालियर के उत्तर में लगभग 35 किलोमीटर  दूर स्थित है और मुरैना शहर से लगभग 30 किलोमीटर पूर्व में स्थित है। दोस्तों मंदिर ज्यादातर छोटे हैं और लगभग 25 एकड़ में फैले हुए हैं दोस्तों ये मंदिर भगवान शिव , भगवान विष्णु , एवं देवी देवताओं को समर्पित है।

दोस्तों बटेश्वर मंदिरों के समूहों को 8 वीं और 10 वीं शताब्दी के मध्य बनाया गया था । इन  मंदिरों के समूहों को स्थानिय लोग  बटेश्वर मंदिर स्थल या बटेसरा मंदिर स्थल भी कहते हैं । दोस्तों  भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग द्वारा लगभग 50-60 मंदिरों का जीर्णोद्धार किया जा चुका है एवं इस स्थल पर मौजूद अन्य मंदिरों का जीर्णोद्धार का कार्य प्रगति पर है। 

दोस्तों भारत के सबसे प्रसिद्ध पुरातत्वविद  डॉक्टर के के मुहम्मद के के नेतृत्व में भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग वालों ने इन मंदिरों के जीर्णोद्धार में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है। दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने वाली यह बात है कि मंदिर परिसर को पुनर्स्थापित करने की इस परियोजना में अपने समय के मशहूर डकैत निर्भय  गुर्जर और उनके  साथियों ने भी भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग वालों की काफी मदद की थी। 

दोस्तों मध्य प्रदेश पुरातत्व विभाग के अनुसार 200 मंदिरों का यह समूह गुर्जर - प्रतिहार वंश के शासनकाल के दौरान बनाया गया था दोस्तों "माइकल मिस्टर" एक कला इतिहासकार और भारतीय मंदिर  वास्तुकला में विशेषज्ञता रखने वाले एक प्रोफ़ेसर के अनुसार ग्वालियर के पास बटेश्वर समूहों में सबसे प्राचीन  मंदिर 800 C.E  के अवधि के हैं।

दोस्तों 13 वी शताब्दी के बाद सम्भवतः अत्याचारी मुस्लिम आक्रमणकारियो  द्वारा ध्वस्त या तोड़ दिया गया था। दोस्तों बटेश्वर मंदिर समूहों को पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग द्वारा 1920 ई. में एक संरक्षित स्थल के रूप में अधिसूचित किया गया था। दोस्तों माना जाता है कि सीमित वसूली , मानकीकृत मंदिर नंबरिंग  एवं फोटोग्राफी के साथ यहां मौजूद खंडहरों को औपनिवेशिक ब्रिटिश काल के हीं दौरान साईट संरक्षण का कार्य शुरू कर दिया गया था। दोस्तों कई विद्वानों ने बटेश्वर मंदिर समूहों के खंडहरों का  अध्ययन किया और अपनी रिपोर्ट में शामिल किया था।

दोस्तों माना जाता है कि फ्रांसीसी पुरातत्वविद "ओडेट विन्नोट " ने 1968 में एक पत्र  प्रकाशित किया था जिसमें बटेश्वर मंदिर समूहों के खंडहरों के तस्वीरों को शामिल किया था।

दोस्तों भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग भोपाल के अधीक्षक पुरातत्वविद के के मुहम्मद के नेतृत्व में एक प्रयोग के तहत 2005 ई. मे  भारतीय पुरातत्व विभाग ने यहां मौजूद मंदिर के खंडहरों को एक जगह इकट्ठा करने और यथासंभव कई मंदिरों को पुनः निर्मित करने या बहाल करने के लिए एक महात्वाकांक्षी परियोजना की शुरुआत की थी। अंततः दोस्तों इसी परियोजना का परिणाम था कि पुरातत्वविद डॉक्टर के के मुहम्मद के नेतृत्व में कुल 50 से 60  मंदिरों का जीर्णोद्धार किया गया था। 

दोस्तों प्रसिद्ध इतिहासकारों एवं पुरातत्त्वविदों के अनुसार बटेश्वर मंदिर समूहों का निर्माण संस्कृत में लिखित प्रसिद्ध हिंदू मंदिर ग्रंथों में वर्णित वास्तुशिल्प सिद्धांतों पर किया गया था। दोस्तों ये दोनों भारतीय ग्रंथ थे ,  "मानसारा शिल्प शास्त्र" जिसे चौथी शताब्दी में लिखा गया था , और दुसरा था   "मायामाता वास्तु शास्त्र" इसे सातवीं शताब्दी में लिखा गया था।  दोस्तों पुरातत्व विभाग वालों ने इन्हीं ग्रंथों का अनुसरण किया और उनकी 60-70 से अधिक कार्यकर्ताओं के समूह ने इस स्थल से मंदिर के खंडहरों से मंदिरों के टुकड़े एकत्रित किए और एक पहेली की तरह इसे वापस एक साथ रखने की कोशिश की थी , और वे सभी  लगभग 50 से 60 मंदिरों को पुनः स्थापित भी कर दिये थे।

 दोस्तों इस स्थल का उल्लेख ऐतिहासिक साहित्यों में " धरोन " या " परावली " एवं बाद के समय में " पदावली " के रूप में मिलता है।

 Namaskar Friends, what a grand group of temples Bateshwar must have been during his time.  Friends, you will be surprised to know that Bateshwar Temple is a group of about 200 temples which were built of sandstone.  The Gupta carpet was built in the Gurjara-Pratihara style of North Indian temple architecture.  Friends This temple group is located about 35 kilometers north of Gwalior and about 30 kilometers east of Morena city.  Friends temple is mostly small and is spread over 25 acres. Friends, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Gods and Goddesses.

 Groups of friends Bateshwar temples were built between the 8th and 10th centuries.  Local groups of these temples are also called Bateshwar temple site or Batesara temple site.  Friends, about 50-60 temples have been renovated by the Archaeological Survey of India and renovation work of other temples at this site is in progress.

 Friends, the Archaeological Survey of India, under the leadership of Dr. KK Muhammad, one of the most famous archaeologist of India, has contributed significantly to the restoration of these temples.  It is surprising to friends that Nirbhay Gurjar, a famous dacoit of his time, and his colleagues also helped the Archaeological Survey of India in this project to restore the temple complex.

 According to the Friends Madhya Pradesh Archaeological Department, this group of 200 temples was built during the reign of the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty. Friends "Michael Mister" is an art historian and a professor specializing in Indian temple architecture.  The ancient temples date back to 800 CE.

 Friends were destroyed or disbanded after the 13th century, possibly by tyrannical Muslim invaders.  Friends Bateshwar temple groups were notified as a protected site in 1920 AD by the Archaeological Survey Department.  Friends, it is believed that with limited collection, standardized temple numbering and photography, the site of the ruins here was started during the colonial British period.  Friends, many scholars studied the ruins of the Bateshwar temple groups and included them in their reports.

 Friends, the French archaeologist "Odette Vinnotte" is believed to have published a letter in 1968 that included photographs of the ruins of the Bateshwar temple groups.

 Friends, under an experiment led by Archaeologist KK Muhammad, Superintendent of Archaeological Survey of India, Bhopal, in 2005 AD, the Archaeological Department of India collected a place to collect the ruins of the temple here and rebuild or restore as many temples as possible  Started an ambitious project.  Ultimately, the result of the same project was that 50 to 60 temples were renovated under the leadership of archaeologist Dr. KK Muhammad.

 According to friends famous historians and archaeologists, the Bateshwar temple groups were built on the architectural principles described in the famous Hindu temple texts written in Sanskrit.  Friends, both of these were Indian texts, "Mansara Shilpa Shastra" which was written in the fourth century, and another was "Mayamata Vastu Shastra" it was written in the seventh century.  The Friends of the Archeology Department followed these same texts and their group of more than 60-70 activists collected pieces of temples from the ruins of the temple from this site and tried to put it back together like a puzzle, and they  All around 50 to 60 temples were also restored.

 Friends, this place is mentioned in historical literature as "Dharon" or "Paravali" and in later times as "Padavali".

 नमस्कार दोस्तों वैदिक इंजीनियरिंग की श्रेष्ठता का जीता जागता साक्ष्य एवं प्रमाण है छत्तीसगढ़ का जतमाई माता मंदिर , दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों से पता चलता है कि  माता मंदिर का निर्माण हजारों वर्ष पहले यहां रहने वाले कमार आदिवासियों द्वारा करवाया गया था ।

दोस्तों इस मंदिर को देखकर आपको आश्चर्य होगा कि हमारे घरों के दीवारों के आसपास हल्का सा भी पानी इकट्ठा हो जाए तो हमारा मकान साल भर भी नहीं चलता वह जर्जर हो जाता है। और तो और दोस्तों अगर 3 महीने जोरदार बारिश हो जाए तो मुंबई दिल्ली जैसे आधुनिक शहर और उनके मकान पानी में नाव  की तरह बहने लगते हैं। लेकिन दोस्तों जतमाई माता मंदिर हजारों वर्षों से पानी के बीचो-बीच खड़ा है बिना किसी नुकसान के वह भी झरने के बीचो बीच और शायद आने वाले हजारों वर्षों तक यूं ही खड़ा रहेगा। दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने की सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि यहां तो पानी   कुछ वर्षों में पहाड़ तक को चीर देते हैं यानी पहाड़ को दो भागों में बांट देते हैं लेकिन दोस्तों इस मंदिर को आज तक कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुंचा है। दोस्तों यही तो है इस मंदिर की श्रेष्ठता था जिसे हमारे पूर्वजों ने बहुत ही योजना तरीके से बनवाया था।

दोस्तों यह मंदिर सुरक्षित है यह तो बड़ी बात है  ही उससे भी बड़ी बात है दोस्तों झरने के बीचो-बीच मंदिर बनाने की कल्पना करना एवं उस कल्पना को हकीकत में बदल भी देना जो कि हमारे पूर्वजों ने करके दिखा भी दिया था , दोस्तों यह मंदिर विश्व के घोर आश्चर्य में से एक है वह भी झरनों के बीचों-बीच मंदिर का सुरक्षित बचा रह ना वह भी अनंत काल से।

 दोस्तों बहुत ही खूबसूरत और अलौकिक स्थापत्य कला का सुंदर नमूना है जतमाई माता मंदिर।

 दोस्तों जतमाई माता मंदिर छत्तीसगढ़ के प्रमुख तीर्थ और पर्यटन स्थलों में से एक है दोस्तों माता मंदिर घने जंगलों के बीच प्रकृति की गोद में बसा हुआ है ।दोस्तों यह मंदिर अपने कल कल करते प्राकृतिक सदाबहार झरनों के लिए भी काफी प्रसिद्ध है।दोस्तों माता के मंदिर के ठीक  बीचों-बीच बहती हुई जलधाराएं उनके चरणों को छूकर चट्टानों से नीचे गिरती है। दोस्तों स्थानीय दंत कथाओं या मान्यताओं के अनुसार यह जलधाराएं माता की सेविका आए हैं जो देवी मां के भक्तों को अपने जल से नहलाती हैं। दोस्तों झरने में स्नानआदि करने के बाद ही भक्तगण माता की दर्शन करते हैं।दोस्तों वैसे तो यहां सालों भर भक्तों का भीड़ लगा रहता है और सभी माता का दर्शन का लाभ उठाते हैं ,साथ ही साथ दोस्तों प्रतिवर्ष चैत्र माह और  नवरात्रि में भी मेले का आयोजन होता है। और दूर-दूर से लोग माता का दर्शन करने आते हैं और पिकनिक का भी आनंद उठाते हैं।दोस्तों जतमाई माता मंदिर वनो के बीचो बीच स्थित होने के कारण एक खूबसूरत पिकनिक स्थल के रूप में भी प्रसिद्ध है।

दोस्तों मां के आशीर्वाद से मिलता है संतान सुख ऐसी मान्यता है कि जतमई माता के मंदिर में वे लोग भी आते हैं जो नि:संतान होते हैं। ये दंपति माता से संतान सुख का मन्नत मांगते हैं और मन्नत का धागा पेड़ों में बांध जाते हैं एवं मन्नत पूरा होने पर हुए दुबारा माता के दर्शन को आते हैं।

 दोस्तों यहां प्रकृति के रोमांच के साथ-साथ आस्था का जबरदस्त संगम देखने को मिलता है।

 Mitra Jatmai Mata Temple is one of the major pilgrimage and tourist destinations of Chhattisgarh. The Friends Mata Temple is nestled in the lap of nature amidst the thick forests. Friends, this temple is also famous for its natural evergreen waterfalls.  The streams flowing right in the middle of the temple touch their feet and fall down from the rocks.  According to friends local legends or beliefs, these streams have come to the servants of Mother, who bathe the devotees of the Mother Goddess with their water.  Friends take a bath in the waterfall, devotees visit the mother only.  नमस्कार दोस्तों मैं माउंटेन लैपर्ड महेंद्रा आप सभी लोगों का हार्दिक अभिनंदन करता हूं दोस्तों आज की यात्रा पर मैं आप सभी को लेकर चल रहा हूं अपने झारखंड प्रदेश के हजारीबाग जिले में स्थित बहोरनपुर की जहां पर बहुत ही प्राचीन एक टिलहा स्थित है जिसे वहां के स्थानीय लोग इटवा टिलहा के नाम से जानते हैं। दोस्तों बहोरनपुर कभी बौद्ध धर्म का एक महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र था जहां पर आज खुदाई के दौरान पुरातत्व विभाग वालों को मां तारा सहित भगवान बुद्ध की एक ही स्थान पर 5 प्रतिमाएं मिली है। 

 दोस्तों झारखंड के हजारीबाग जिले के बहोरनपुर स्थित पहाड़ी की तलहटी में बने इटवा टिलहा में खुदाई के दौरान पुरातत्व विभाग वालों को 2 प्रतिमाएं मिली थी। दोस्तों दोनों प्रतिमाएं भगवान बुद्ध की महानिवार्ण मुद्रा की है। दोस्तों यह पहला मौका है जब हजारीबाग के इटवा टीलहा में खुदाई के दौरान 2 प्रतिमाएं मिली इससे पूर्व यहां पर मिट्टी का घड़ा , कील आदि वस्तुएं मिल चुकी है।दोस्तों दोनों प्रतिमाओं के मिलने से पुरातात्विक विभाग वाले की आंखों में भी चमक आ गई अतः प्रतिमाओं को लेकर पुरातात्विक विभाग द्वारा विश्लेषण किया जा रहा है और इस इलाके में पूरे जोर-शोर से खुदाई का कार्य किया जा रहा है।

 दोस्तों यहां मिली मौन प्रतिमाएं बोल रही है कि कभी बहोरनपुर बौद्ध धर्म का एक बहुत बड़ा आध्यात्मिक केंद्र रहा होगा।

 दोस्तों मालूम चलता है कि बिहार के राजगीर, नालंदा , पावापुरी और बोधगया के बाद 10 वीं शताब्दी के पाल वंश के शासकों के शासनकाल में झारखंड के हजारीबाग का बहोरनपुर भी बौद्ध धर्म का  एक महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र रहा होगा। दोस्तों पुरातत्व विभाग द्वारा दूसरे चरण की खुदाई में मिल रही प्रतिमाएं इस बात की ओर इशारा कर रही है। दोस्तों सोमवार को यहां खुदाई में पांच प्रतिमाएं प्राप्त हुई थी।इनमें से एक मां तारा और चार भगवान बुद्ध की प्रतिमाएं थी।दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि प्राप्त बुद्ध की प्रतिमाएं विभिन्न मुद्राओं में बनी हुई है। दोस्तों सभी प्रतिमाएं इटवा टिलहे के पश्चिम - उत्तर कोने से प्राप्त हुई है। दोस्तों एक ही कोने से सभी प्रतिमाओं के मिलने से पुरातात्विक विभाग के विशेषज्ञ भी आश्चर्यचकित हो रहे हैं।  दोस्तों टिलहे में मौजूद कोने को बौद्ध धर्म में विशेष महत्व का होना बता रहे हैं। जो आगे के शोध में सामने आ जाएगा।

दोस्तों माना जा रहा है जी अब तक बौद्ध सर्किट में राजगीर , नालंदा , पावापुरी ,बोधगया , चतरा की कौलेश्वरी पहाड़ी  तथा मां भद्रकाली मंदिर का जिक्र आता रहा है लेकिन अब यह क्षेत्र भी इसमें शामिल हो सकता है। दोस्तों प्राप्त प्रतिमाओं , बौद्ध मठ के आकार और अवशेषों से यह बात तो तय हो गई है कि बहोरनपुर भी बौद्ध धर्म का पाल वंश के समय का महत्वपूर्ण सांस्कृतिक केंद्र रहा होगा। दोस्तों आश्चर्य की बात है कि इटवा टिलहा से बरामद सभी प्रतिमाएं सैंड स्टोन की बनी हुई है। दोस्तों इसी तरह की प्रतिमाएं मां भद्रकाली मंदिर से भी बरामद हुई थी। दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि हजारीबाग में कहीं भी सैंड स्टोन नहीं मिलता है।यानी दोस्तों साबित होता है कि प्राचीन काल में इन प्रतिमाओं को कहीं और से लाकर प्राण प्रतिष्ठित किया गया था। और बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण बौद्ध मठ की स्थापना की गई थी इस क्षेत्र में। दोस्तों हो सकता है कि यह शिक्षा का भी बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र रहा होगा यह शोध का विषय है।

 Friends, during the excavation at Itwa Tilha in the foothills of Bahoranpur in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand, the archaeological department found 2 statues.  Friends, both idols are of the great posture of Lord Buddha.  Friends, this is the first time when 2 statues were found during the excavation at Itwa Tilaha, Hazaribagh, before it has been found here an earthen pot, nail etc. The two archaeological department's eyes also shone in the eyes of the archaeological department, hence the statues  The analysis is being done by the archaeological department and excavation work is being done in this area.

 Friends, the silent statues found here are saying that Bahoranpur must have been a very big spiritual center of Buddhism.

 Friends know that Bahoranpur of Hazaribagh in Jharkhand would have been an important center of Buddhism during the reigns of the 10th-century Pal dynasty after Rajgir, Nalanda, Pavapuri and Bodh Gaya in Bihar.  Friends, the statues found in the second phase of excavation by the Archaeological Department are pointing to this.  Friends, five statues were found in the excavation here on Monday. One of them was statues of mother Tara and four Lord Buddha. Friends, you will be surprised to know that the received Buddha statues are in different postures.  Friends All statues have been received from the west-north corner of Itwa Tilhe.  Friends, experts of the archaeological department are also surprised by the meeting of all the statues from the same corner.  Friends are telling the corner present in Tilhe to be of special importance in Buddhism.  Which will be revealed in further research.

 It is believed that till now the Buddhist circuit has been mentioned in Rajgir, Nalanda, Pavapuri, Bodh Gaya, Kaleshwari hill of Chatra and Maa Bhadrakali temple but now this area can also be included in it.  The statues and friends of friends, the size and the remains of the Buddhist monastery have ensured that Bahoranpur must have been an important cultural center of Buddhism during the Pala dynasty.  It is surprising that all the statues recovered from Itwa Tilha are made of sand stone.  Friends, similar idols were also recovered from Maa Bhadrakali temple.  Friends, you will be surprised to know that sand stone is not found anywhere in Hazaribagh. This proves that in ancient times, these statues were brought to life by bringing these idols from elsewhere.  And a very important Buddhist monastery was established in this area.  Friends, it may be that it has also been a very important center of education, it is a subject of research.
