नमस्कार दोस्तों मैं माउंटेन लैपर्ड महेंद्रा आप सभी लोगों का हार्दिक अभिनंदन करता हूं। दोस्तों आज की यात्रा पर मैं आपको एक ऐसे मंदिर की यात्रा पर ले जा रहा हूं जहां पहुंचते ही मृत व्यक्ति पुनः जिंदा हो उठता था। तो आइए दोस्तों चलते हैं उत्तराखंड राज्य के देहरादून के लाखामंडल गांव की यात्रा पर जहां हम दर्शन करेंगे उस पवित्र मंदिर की जो द्वापर और त्रेता युग से संबंधित है।

नमस्कार दोस्तों उत्तराखंड के देहरादून जिले के लाखामंडल गांव के पास बहुत ही ऐतिहासिक व पौराणिक और धार्मिक महत्व की कई धरोहर मौजूद है। लेकिन सरकारी देखरेख के अभाव में यह धरोहर अब तक उपेक्षित पड़ी हुई है।दोस्तों इसी वजह से यह जगह तीर्थ यात्रियों की पहुंच से दूर है केवल कुछ स्थानीय लोग ही यहां पहुंच पाते हैं। इस पवित्र शिव धाम की यात्रा पर।
दोस्तों देहरादून के सुदूर लाखामंडल गांव की सबसे अमूल्य धरोहर है अति प्राचीन शिव मंदिर जहां किसी कालखंड में मृत व्यक्ति भी जिंदा हो उठता था। महाकाल भोलेनाथ की कृपा से।दोस्तों भगवान शिव और मां पार्वती को समर्पित यह मंदिर महाभारत कालीन बताया जाता है दोस्तों इस इलाके में मंदिर से संबंधित दो दंतकथाएं प्रचलित है।
दोस्तों स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि इसी स्थान पर दुर्योधन ने पांडवों को मारने के लिए लाक्षागृह का निर्माण करवाया था।लेकिन लाक्षागृह में आग लगने के बाद सभी पांडव भगवान की कृपा से एक गुफा के रास्ते होते हुए इस लाक्षागृह से बाहर निकल गए थे। दोस्तों माना जाता है कि जहां से पांडव बाहर निकले थे वह स्थान चित्रेश्वर नाम की एक गुफा है।दोस्तों चित्रेश्वर नाम की वह गुफा इस अति प्राचीन शिव मंदिर से 2 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है जो लाखामंडल गांव के निचले हिस्से में मौजूद है।दोस्तों की किंवदंतिया है कि इसी कार्य के लिए धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर ने इस जगह पर मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया था , ताकि सभी पांडव शिव पार्वती की शक्तियों को धन्यवाद कर सके।
दोस्तों एक अन्य दंतकथा के अनुसार जब पांडव महाभारत के युद्ध के बाद हिमालय के इस क्षेत्र में भ्रमण करते हुए आए तो उन्होंने इस मंदिर का निर्माण किया और यहां पर एक लाख शिवलिंग की स्थापना की। दोस्तों कहते हैं कि लाखा का मतलब है एक लाख और मंडल का अर्थ है लिंग। अर्थात दोस्तों पांडवों द्वारा एक लाख शिवलिंग को प्रतिष्ठित किए जाने के कारण ही इस जगह का नाम लाखामंडल पड़ा है। अतः दोस्तों मुझे भी यही कहानी सच लगती है पहली वाली कहानी के अपेक्षा क्योंकि दोस्तों माना जाता है कि लाक्षागृह कुरुक्षेत्र यानी दिल्ली और उत्तर प्रदेश के आसपास कहीं मौजूद है।
दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से केदारनाथ मंदिर की ही शैली में बने इस प्राचीन शिव मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में भगवान शिव , माता पार्वती के अलावे काल भैरव , कार्तिकेय , माता सरस्वती , भगवान गणेश , माता दुर्गा , भगवान विष्णु , सूर्य देव , बजरंगबली आदि देवी-देवताओं की मूर्तियां मौजूद है। दोस्तों इसके अलावा यहां पर धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर एवं पांचों पांडवों की भी मूर्तियां मौजूद है । दोस्तों इस मंदिर में मौजूद सभी मूर्तियों को देखकर ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि मानो यह एक भव्य प्राचीन संग्रहालय हो।
दोस्तों जब आप यहां पहुंचेंगे तो देखोगे कि इस मंदिर के विशाल परिसर में ढेरों मूर्तियां , लघु शिवाल है और शिवलिंग यत्र तत्र बिखरे पड़े हुए हैं।दोस्तों देखभाल व संरक्षण के अभाव में कई प्राचीन मूर्तियां नष्ट भ्रष्ट हो चुकी है व खंडित होकर इधर-उधर बिखरी हुई है दोस्तों स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि यह मंदिर पुरातत्व विभाग वालों के देखरेख में है लेकिन पुरातत्व विभाग वाले सही तरीके से देखभाल नहीं कर रहे हैं इस कारण से यह मंदिर अब भी उपेक्षित है । दोस्तों स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि मंदिर परिसर में मौजूद गहरे हरे रंग का शिवलिंग द्वापर युग का है जब भगवान कृष्ण ने अवतार लिया था। और साथ ही परिसर में मौजूद लाल रंग के शिवलिंग का संबंध त्रेता युग से बताया जाता है जब भगवान श्रीराम ने अवतार लिया था। दोस्तों मंदिर परिसर में एक और अद्भुत शिवलिंग मौजूद है जिस पर जल चढ़ाने पर आप अपने प्रतिबिंब को स्पष्ट रुप से देख सकते हो।
दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में मौजूद खुरों (पैर) के निशान गाय माता के कहे जाते हैं।दोस्तों इस बारे में कहावत है कि गर्भ गृह में शिवलिंग की खोज तब की जा सकी थी , जब यमुनापार के गांव की एक गाय यहां आकर प्रतिदिन अपने दूध से शिवलिंग का अभिषेक किया करती थी। तभी इस शिवलिंग के बारे में स्थानीय लोगों को पता चल पाया था।
दोस्तों जब आप यहां पहुंचोगे तो देखोगे कि मंदिर के पश्चिमी हिस्से में दो मूर्तियां मौजूद हैं जिनके बारे में कहा जाता है कि यह मूर्तियां द्वारपाल जय और विजय की है।दोस्तों इस बारे में मान्यता है कि इन मूर्तियों के सामने किसी मृत व्यक्ति को रख देने पर पुजारी उसके ऊपर गंगाजल छिड़क देते थे और वह व्यक्ति जिंदा हो उठता था।दोस्तों जीवित होते ही वह व्यक्ति भगवान शिव का नाम लेने लगता था , तब उसके मुंह में गंगाजल डाला जाता था जिससे वह पुनः शरीर त्याग कर स्वर्ग को चला जाता था। दोस्तों कहते हैं कि एक बार एक स्त्री ने जिंदा हो चुके अपने पति को यहां से ले जाने की कोशिश की थी , उसके बाद से ही यहां मृत व्यक्ति की जीवित होने की शक्ति समाप्त हो गई।

Friends, the most invaluable heritage of the remote Lakhamandal village of Dehradun is the very ancient Shiva temple where even a dead person used to be alive in a period of time. By the grace of Mahakal Bholenath. This temple dedicated to friends Lord Shiva and mother Parvati is said to be the Mahabharata period. Friends, there are two legends related to the temple in this area.
Friends say local people say that this is the place where Duryodhana built the Laksha Griha to kill the Pandavas. But after the fire in the Laksha Griha, all the Pandavas got out of the Laksha Griha by the grace of God via a cave. Friends, it is believed that the place where the Pandavas came out is a cave named Chitreshwar. Friends, this cave named Chitreshwar is at a distance of 2 km from this very ancient Shiva temple which is present in the lower part of the village of Lakhamandal. Legend has it that for this work Dharmaraja Yudhishthira had built a temple at this place, so that all the Pandavas could thank the powers of Shiva Parvati.
According to another legend, when the Pandavas came to visit this region of the Himalayas after the war of Mahabharata, they built this temple and established one lakh Shivlinga here. Friends say Lakha means one lakh and Mandal means gender. That is, this place is named Lakhmandal due to the presence of one lakh Shivalinga by friends Pandavas. So friends, the same story seems true to me as compared to the first story because friends are believed that Lakshagriha exists somewhere around Kurukshetra i.e. Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
Friends, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Kaal Bhairava, Kartikeya, Mata Saraswati, Lord Ganesha, Mata Durga, Lord Vishnu, Surya Dev, Bajrangbali etc. Goddesses in this womb of this ancient Shiva temple, built in the same style as Kedarnath temple. Statues of deities exist. Friends, in addition to this, idols of Dharmaraja Yudhishthira and the five Pandavas are also present here. Friends, looking at all the idols present in this temple, it seems as if it is a grand ancient museum.
Friends, when you reach here, you will see that the huge complex of this temple has many statues, miniature Shiva and the Shivalinga scattered here and there. Many ancient idols have been destroyed and broken due to lack of friend care and protection. Scattered friends local people say that this temple is under the supervision of the archeology department but the archeology department is not taking proper care of the reason, because of this the temple is still neglected. Friends locals say that the dark green Shivalinga present in the temple complex dates back to the Dwapar era when Lord Krishna took incarnation. Also, the red colored Shivling present in the premises is said to be related to the Treta Yuga when Lord Shri Ram incarnated. Friends, there is another amazing Shivling in the temple complex, on which you can clearly see your reflection when you offer water.
Astonishingly, the traces of hooves (feet) in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple are said to be of the mother goddess. Friends say that the Shivling was discovered in the sanctum sanctorum when a cow from the village of Yamunapar was found here. She used to anoint Shiva lingam every day with her milk. Only then the local people came to know about this Shivling.
Friends, when you reach here, you will see that there are two idols in the western part of the temple, which is said to be the idols of Dwarapal Jai and Vijay. Friends believe that to put a dead person in front of these idols. But the priests used to sprinkle Gangajal on him and that person would get alive. As soon as the friends were alive, the person used to take the name of Lord Shiva, then Gangajal was put in his mouth from which he renounced his body and went to heaven. Friends say that once a woman tried to take her husband who was alive from here, since then the dead person's power to live here has been exhausted.
