Mallikarjuna Temple is a smaller version of the Virupaksha temple and was built by Vikramadiyta's second queen Trilokyamahadevi in 745. This temple is also was constructed by Rani Trilokyamahadevi to celebrate the victory (by Vikramaditya II) over the Pallavas. The Mallikarjuna temple was built immediately after and close to the Virupaksha temple (It has a similar plan), with a 4 storeyed vimana with a circular griva and sikhara. Mallikarjuna temple in Dravidian style.

Pattadakal, in Karnataka, represents the high point of an eclectic art which, in the 7th and 8th centuries under the Chalukya dynasty, achieved a harmonious blend of architectural forms from northern and southern India. An impressive series of nine Hindu temples, as well as a Jain sanctuary, can be seen there. One masterpiece from the group stands out – the Temple of Virupaksha, built c. 740 by Queen Lokamahadevi to commemorate her husband's victory over the kings from the South

 मल्लिकार्जुन मंदिर विरुपाक्ष मंदिर का एक छोटा संस्करण है और इसे विक्रमादित्य की दूसरी रानी त्रिलोक्यमहादेवी ने 745 में बनवाया था। इस मंदिर का निर्माण भी रानी त्रिलोकीमादेवी ने पल्लवों पर विजय (विक्रमादित्य द्वितीय) द्वारा मनाने के लिए करवाया था।  मल्लिकार्जुन मंदिर वीरुपक्ष मंदिर के करीब और बाद में बनाया गया था (इसकी एक समान योजना है), एक 4 मंजिला विमना के साथ एक गोलाकार ग्रिवा और शिखर है।  मल्लिकार्जुन मंदिर द्रविड़ शैली में।

🙏तारकेश्वर_मंदिर (कदंब और कल्याणचुक्य वंश) 🙏 हंगल / कर्नाटक:

तारकेश्वर मंदिर वास्तव में हमारे मध्ययुगीन काल के स्थापत्य चमत्कार का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। मंदिर जो हिंदू देवता भगवान शिव को समर्पित है, 12 वीं शताब्दी ईस्वी के मध्य में सौंपा गया है। मंदिर का नाम भगवान शिव के तारकेश्वर स्थान से लिया गया है .... मंदिर प्रारंभिक निर्माण कादंथा वंश के लिए समर्पित है लेकिन बाद के समय में कल्याणचालयकों ने आज के समय में कई महत्वपूर्ण कार्य किए थे ... किंवदंतियों के अनुसार, हंगल नह को महाभारत में विराटनगर माना जाता है, जहां पांडवों ने अपने अजातशत्रुओं के दौरान भेस में शरण ली थी ... हुबली से हंगल शहर 75 किलोमीटर दूर है। ।

 The Tarakeswar temple is indeed a classic example of the architectural marvel of our medieval period.  The temple, which is dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Shiva, is assigned in the middle of the 12th century AD.  The name of the temple is derived from the Tarakeswar place of Lord Shiva .... The temple is dedicated to the early construction of the Kadantha dynasty but in later times the Kalyanchalakas did many important works in today's time ... According to legends, Hangal Nah  Is considered to be Viratnagar in the Mahabharata, where the Pandavas took refuge in disguise during their Ajatashatru ... Hangal town is 75 km from Hubli.  .

 The temple is built with gray-green chloritic schist and has internally carved walls and ceilings.  The main attraction of the temple is in the main hall which has a large dome roof in the form of a lotus (see photo) .... The ceiling rises in concentric circles, forming folds patterns, and then drops down again at the top.  Reaches  This gives a feeling of blooming lotus…

 The paintings on the walls depict scenes from the epic Ramayana ... The pillars of the main hall are like a lathe.  The bell-shaped sections on the pillars are also similar to the lathe works.  .... इस मंदिर की मूर्तियों और छत के अंदर जो पत्थर उपयोग किया गया है वह है बेसाल्ट जो कि पृथ्वी पर सबसे मुश्किल पत्थरों में से एक है इसे आज की आधुनिक Diamond electron machine ही काट सकती है वह भी केवल 1 इंच प्रति घंटे की दर से

अब आप सोचिये कैसे इन्होंने 900 साल पहले इस पत्थर पर इतनी बारीक कारीगरी की है

यहां पर एक नृत्यांगना की मूर्ति भी है जिसने हाई हील पहनी हुई है

सबसे ज्यादा अगर कुछ आश्चर्यजनक है वह है इस मंदिर की छत यहां पर इतनी बारीक कारीगरी की गई है जिसकी सुंदरता देखते ही बनती है

मंदिर की बाहर की तरफ जो पिलर लगे हुए हैं उन पर कारीगरी देखिए दूसरा उन की चमक और लेवल में कटाई

मंदिर के प्रांगण में एक नंदी भी है जो भी इसी पत्थर से बना हुआ है और उस पर जो कारीगरी की हुई है वह भी बहुत अद्भुत है

पुरातात्विक टीम जब यहां पहुंची तो वह इस मंदिर की शिल्प कला और कारीगिरी से बहुत ज्यादा प्रभावित हुई लेकिन वह एक बात समझ नहीं पा रहे थे कि यह पत्थर क्या है और इतने लंबे समय से कैसे टिका हुआ है

पत्थर इतना सख्त होने के बाद भी बहुत ज्यादा हल्का है और वह पानी में तैर सकता है इसी वजह से आज इतने लंबे समय के बाद भी मंदिर को किसी प्रकार की क्षति नहीं पहुंची है

यह सब आज के समय में करना असंभव है इतनी अच्छी टेक्नोलॉजी होने के बाद भी तो 900 साल पहले क्या इनके पास मशीनरी नहीं थी?

उस समय की टेक्नोलॉजी आज से भी ज्यादा आगे थी

यह सब इस वजह से संभव था कि उस समय वास्तु शास्त्र और शिल्पशास्त्र से जुड़ी हुई बहुत सी किताबें उपलब्धि थी जिनके माध्यम से ही यह निर्माण संभव हो पाये उस समय के जो इंजीनियर थे उनको इस बारे में लंबा अनुभव था क्योंकि सनातन संस्कृति के अंदर यह सब लंबे समय से किया जा रहा है

मंदिर का नाम इसके शिल्पी के नाम पर रखा हुआ है क्योंकि उस समय के राजा शिल्पी के काम से बहुत ज्यादा खुश हुए और उन्होंने इस मंदिर का नाम शिल्पी के नाम पर ही रख दिया

 The stone used in the statues and roof of this temple is basalt which is one of the toughest stones on earth, it can be cut only by today's modern Diamond electron machine, that too at the rate of only 1 inch per hour.

 Now you think how they have done such fine workmanship on this stone 900 years ago.

 There is also a statue of a dancer who is wearing a high heels.

 The most amazing thing is that the roof of this temple has been done with such fine workmanship, whose beauty is made on seeing it.

 Look at the workmanship on the pillars which are on the outside of the temple, secondly they are cut in brightness and level.

 There is also a Nandi in the courtyard of the temple which is also made of this stone and the workmanship done on it is also very amazing.

 When the archaeological team arrived here, she was very much impressed by the craftsmanship and artisanship of this temple but he could not understand one thing about what this stone is and how it has been for so long.

 Even after being so hard, the stone is very light and it can float in the water, due to this, there is no damage to the temple even after such a long time.

 It is impossible to do all this in today's time, even after having such good technology, did they not have machinery 900 years ago?

 The technology at that time was even further than today.

 All this was possible due to the achievement of many books related to Vastu Shastra and Shilpasastra at that time, through which this construction could be made possible.  It's been done for a long time

 The temple is named after its craftsman, because the king of that time was very happy with the work of Shilpi and he named this temple after the artist.
