 नमस्कार दोस्तों मैं माउंटेन लैपर्ड महेंद्रा आप सभी लोगों का हार्दिक अभिनंदन करता हूं दोस्तों दोस्तों आज की यात्रा पर मैं आपको लेकर चल रहा हूं उत्तराखंड रुद्रप्रयाग जिले की यात्रा पर जहां हम देखेंगे एक बहुत ही अद्भुत और अलौकिक अति प्राचीन मंदिर को जिसके बारे में कहा जाता है कि यहीं पर भगवान शिव शंभू और माता पार्वती की शादी संपन्न हुई थी।

 नमस्कार दोस्तों क्या आप जानते हैं कि इस ब्रह्मंड  में विद्यमान हैं वह पवित्र स्थल जहां साक्षात रुप से भगवान भोलेनाथ और माता पार्वती का विवाह संपन्न हुआ था।

              

           दोस्तों वह पवित्र और अलौकिक स्थल मौजूद है देव भूमि उत्तराखंड के रुद्रप्रयाग जिले में दोस्तों यहां हिमालय की वादियों में मौजूद समुद्र तल से 1980 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है।दोस्तों हिमालय की वादियों में मौजूद प्राचीन त्रियुगीनारायण मंदिर ही वह पवित्र और अलौकिक पौराणिक मंदिर है जहां भगवान शिव ने माता पार्वती से शादी की थी।

        दोस्तों अद्भुत और अलौकिक रूप से इस प्राचीन मंदिर के अंदर सदियों , सदियों से अग्नि प्रज्वलित हो रही है। दोस्तों पौराणिक ग्रंथों में वर्णित है कि भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती ने इसी पवित्र अग्नि को साक्षी मानकर विवाह किया था।

            यानी दोस्तों देखा जाए तो त्रियुगीनारायण  मंदिर ही वह पवित्र शुभ विवाह स्थल है जहां भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती का विवाह संपन्न हुआ था।

        (  प्रज्वलित अग्नि  )

 दोस्तों अति प्राचीन त्रियुगी नारायण मंदिर के अंदर प्रज्वलित अग्नि युगो युगो से जल रही है इसलिए इस पवित्र स्थल का नाम त्रियुगी हो गया है यानि वह अग्नि जो तीन युगो से लगातार जल रही है।

          दोस्तों माना जाता है कि त्रियुगीनारायण प्राचीन हिमावत की राजधानी हुआ करती थी। यहीं पर भगवान विष्णु जी ने माता पार्वती के विवाह में माता पार्वती के बड़े भाई के रूप में सभी रीति-रिवाजों का पालन किया था। दोस्तों जब कि भगवान ब्रह्मा जी ने भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती के विवाह में पुरोहित बनकर विवाह संपन्न करवाया था।

                साथ ही दोस्तों पौराणिक ग्रंथों में वर्णित है कि उस समय इस विवाह समारोह में सभी ऋषिगण एवं ब्रह्मांड के सभी पशु पक्षी , प्राणी , भूत पिचास राक्षस गण ने भाग लिया था।  दोस्तों जहां पर यह विवाह संपन्न हुआ था उस नियत स्थान को ब्रह्म शिला कहा जाता है जो मंदिर के ठीक सामने स्थित है।

        (   पवित्र जल कुंड )

 दोस्तों पुराणों में वर्णित है कि विवाह से पहले यहां मौजूद तीनों कुंडों में सभी देवताओं ने स्नान किया था। दोस्तों यह तीनों कुंड है

 रूद्र कुंड  ,  विष्णु कुंड ,  ब्रह्मा कुंड ।

             दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से इन तीनों कुंडों में जल पवित्र सरस्वती कुंड से आता है। दोस्तों माना जाता है कि पवित्र सरस्वती कुंड का निर्माण भगवान विष्णु जी की नासिका से हुआ था। और इसलिए ऐसी मान्यता है कि इन तीनों कुंडों में स्नान करने से संतान सुख की प्राप्ति होती है।

  

 दोस्तों माना जाता है कि जो श्रद्धालु सच्चे मन से इस पवित्र और अलौकिक स्थान की यात्रा करता है और वे यहां प्रज्वलित अखंड ज्योति की भभूत अपने साथ ले जाते हैं जिससे उनका वैवाहिक जीवन भगवान भोलेनाथ और माता पार्वती के आशीर्वाद से हमेशा मंगलमय बना रहता है।

           दोस्तों वेदों में उल्लेख किया गया है कि यह प्राचीन त्रियुगीनारायण मंदिर त्रेता युग में स्थापित किया गया था।दोस्तों यह भी मान्यता है कि यहीं पर भगवान विष्णु जी ने वामन देवता का अवतार लिया था।

              दोस्तों पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार माना जाता है कि स्वर्ग पर कब्जा करने के लिए राजा बलि ने 100 यज्ञ करने की प्रतिज्ञा की थी। जिसमें से महाप्रतापी राजा बलि ने 99 यज्ञ पूरे कर लिए थे ,  जिससे तीनों लोगों में हाहाकार मच गया था। तब भगवान विष्णु जी ने 100 वे यज्ञ को वामन अवतार लेकर रोक दिया था। दोस्तों इस प्राचीन मंदिर में भगवान विष्णु जी के वामन अवतार की ही पूजा  की जाती है।

        दोस्तों मंदिर का वास्तु कला केदारनाथ मंदिर के समान ही हैं मंदिर शैव और वैष्णव समुदाय दोनों के लिए  पवित्र स्थानों में से एक है।

Friends, the ancient Triyuginarayan temple present in the Himalayan plains is that holy and supernatural mythological temple  Where Lord Shiva married Mata Parvati.

 Friends, fire is being ignited inside this ancient temple for centuries, centuries.  Friends mentioned in the mythological texts that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati had married this holy fire as a witness.

 Friends, it is believed that Triyuginarayan used to be the capital of ancient Himavat.  It is here that Lord Vishnu followed all the rituals in the marriage of Mata Parvati as the elder brother of Mata Parvati.  Friends, when Lord Brahma ji got married as a priest in the marriage of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.

 Also, friends are mentioned in mythological texts that at that time all the sages and all the animals of the universe, birds, animals, ghosts and demons, participated in this marriage ceremony.  Friends, the place where this marriage took place is called Brahma Shila which is located right in front of the temple.

 Friends, surprisingly, the water comes from the holy Saraswati Kund in these three kunds.  Friends, it is believed that the holy Saraswati Kund was built from the nose of Lord Vishnu.  And so it is believed that bathing in these three pools gives children happiness.

 It is believed that the devotees who visit this sacred and supernatural place with a sincere heart and carry here with them the blessings of the unbroken Jyoti Jyoti, so that their marital life is always auspicious with the blessings of Lord Bholenath and Mata Parvati.

 Friends, it is mentioned in the Vedas that this ancient Triyuginarayan temple was established in Treta Yuga. Friends also believe that it was here that Lord Vishnu took the incarnation of Vamana deity.

 According to the Friends legend, it is believed that King Bali sacrificed 100 sacrifices to capture heaven.  Out of which the great King Bali had completed 99 yagyas, which caused an outcry among the three people.  Then Lord Vishnu ji stopped the 100th Yajna with the Vamana avatar.  Friends, the Vamana avatar of Lord Vishnu is worshiped in this ancient temple.

 Friends, the architecture of the temple is similar to that of Kedarnath temple. The temple is one of the holy places for both Shaiva and Vaishnav community.

 नमस्कार दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि हमारे भारतवर्ष के देव भूमि कहे जाने वाले उत्तराखंड के हिमालय के ऊंचे चोटियों पर मौजूद है, साक्षात भगवान सूर्य देव जो कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर के नाम से विश्व प्रसिद्ध है।जो अल्मोड़ा से लगभग 16 - 17 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर अधेली सुनार गांव में मौजूद है।दोस्तों यह प्राचीन भव्य सूर्य मंदिर समुद्र तल से लगभग 2116 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है । दोस्तों माना जाता है कि यह अति प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर प्राचीनता में कोणार्क के सूर्य मंदिर से भी लगभग 200 वर्ष पुराना है।

      दोस्तों आश्चर्य की बात यह है कि इस मंदिर में मौजूद भगवान सूर्य देव की मूर्ति किसी धातु या पत्थर से निर्मित नहीं है बल्कि यह मूर्ति बड़ (वट वृक्ष) के पेड़ की लकड़ी से बनी हुई है।  

                             दोस्तों जैसा कि आप सभी जानते हैं की लाल वर्ण , सात घोड़े के रथ पर सवार सूर्य देव को सर्व प्रेरक , सर्वप्रकाशक  व सर्व कल्याणकारी माना जाता है। दोस्तों भगवान सूर्य देव को 'जगत' की 'आत्मा' भी कहा जाता है।दोस्तों सारा संसार जानता है कि सूर्य देव से ही पृथ्वी पर जीवन संभव है ।और सूर्यदेव ही नवग्रहों में प्रमुख देवता माने जाते हैं। दोस्तों यह तो आपको पता ही होगा कि सारे देवताओं में सिर्फ भगवान  सूर्य देव ही एक ऐसे देव हैं जो हर रोज साक्षात दर्शन देते हैं।जिससे समस्त संसार के प्राणियों एवं पेड़ पौधों का जीवन चक्र सुचारू रूप से चलता रहता है।

             इसलिए दोस्तों हमारे धर्म ग्रंथों में सूर्य देव की पूजा का विशेष महत्व बताया गया है जैसे दोस्तों प्रातः उठकर उगते हुए सूर्य देव को जल देना व उनकी आराधना को सर्वोच्च माना गया है।दोस्तों मानो ना मानो भगवान सूर्यदेव से ही संपूर्ण मनुष्य जाति को बिना रुके बिना थके अविरल चलते रहने की प्रेरणा मिलती रहती है चाहे समय कैसा ही क्यों ना हो।

   

  🔱प्राचीन कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर का निर्माण 🔱

 दोस्तों कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर का निर्माणकाल लगभग 9 वीं शताब्दी का माना जाता है उस वक्त उत्तराखंड में 'कत्यूरी' राजवंश का शासन हुआ करता था।दोस्तों इस प्राचीन मंदिर का निर्माण का श्रेय 'कत्यूरी' राजवंश के राजा 'कटारमल' को जाता है।इसलिए दोस्तों इस प्राचीन मंदिर को कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है।दोस्तों एक ऐसी दंतकथा प्रचलित है। जिसमें कहा जाता है कि इस प्राचीन मंदिर का निर्माण राजा  कटारमल ने एक ही रात में करवाया था।

🔱 मंदिर की अद्भुत विशेषता 🔱

   दोस्तों हिमालय पर्वत की सीढ़ीनुमा खेतों को पार करने के बाद ऊंचे ऊंचे देवदार के हरे भरे पेड़ों के बीच तथा पहाड़ी सड़कनुमा पाग - डंडी से चढ़ते हुए एक ऊंचे पर्वत पर मौजूद कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर में जब पहुंचते हैं ।तो मंदिर परिसर में कदम रखते हैं ।आपको मंदिर की भव्यता और विशालता का अनुभव अपने आप ही हो जाता हैं। दोस्तों विशाल पर्वत शिलाओ पर उकेरी गई कलाकृतियां व लकड़ी के दरवाजे में की गई अद्भुत नक्काशी देखते ही बनती है।दोस्तों अकल्पनीय रूप से मंदिर की इस अद्भुत कलाकृतियों को देखते ही सारी की सारी थकान अपने आप ही मिट जाती है।

       दोस्तों प्राचीन कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर का मुख पूर्व दिशा की ओर है ।दोस्तों इस मंदिर को एक ऊंचे वर्गाकार चबूतरे पर बनाया गया है। दोस्तों मुख्य मंदिर की संरचना त्रिरथ है। एवं गर्भ गृह का आकार वर्गाकार है ।और शिखर वक्र रेखीय  है। जो नागर शैली की विशेषताओं को दर्शाता है।

दोस्तों इस प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर की विशेषता यह है कि यहां पर सूर्य भगवान की मूर्ति किसी धातु या पत्थर से निर्मित नहीं है बल्कि भगवान की प्राचीन मूर्ति वट वृक्ष के पेड़ की लकड़ी से बनी हुई है जो अपने आप में अद्भुत व अलौकिक है।  दोस्तों इसलिए इस प्राचीन अलौकिक  सूर्य मंदिर को 'बड़ आदित्य मंदिर' भी कहा जाता है।

          दोस्तों प्राचीन कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर की अद्भुत निर्माण शैली वास्तुकला व शिल्प कला का एक  प्राचीनतम धरोहर और नमूना है। 

         दोस्तों मुख्य सूर्य मंदिर के अतिरिक्त इस मंदिर परिसर में 45 छोटे बड़े और भी मंदिर मौजूद हैं।दोस्तों भगवान सूर्य देव के अलावा भगवान शिव , माता पार्वती, गणेश जी , माता लक्ष्मी ,श्री हरि भगवान विष्णु जी ,कार्तिकेय जी एवं नरसिंह भगवान की मूर्तियां भी स्थापित है।

                  दोस्तों यह जानकर आपको आश्चर्य होगा कि यह मंदिर पूरे भारतवर्ष में एक ऐसा अकेला मंदिर है जहां पर बड़ यानी बरगद के पेड़ की लकड़ी से बने सूर्य देव की मूर्ति की पूजा की जाती है।और तो और दोस्तों यह मंदिर उड़ीसा के कोणार्क सूर्य मंदिर से भी प्राचीनतम है।

 🔱 प्राचीन कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर एक संरक्षित स्मारक के रूप में भारतीय पुरातत्व विभाग के देखरेख में है। 🔱

 दोस्तों भारतीय पुरातत्व विभाग ने प्राचीन कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर को संरक्षित घोषित किए हुए हैं ।इसलिए दोस्तों अब इस प्राचीन मंदिर की देखरेख तथा सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी भारतीय पुरातत्व विभाग ने अपने हाथों में ले रखी है। दोस्तों मंदिर के गर्भगृह का प्रवेश द्वार लकड़ी का बना हुआ है जिस पर बहुत ही खूबसूरत तरीके से नक्काशी की गई है जो उच्च कोटि की काष्ट कला का प्राचीनतम नमूना है।दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने वाली बात यह है कि अब वर्तमान समय में इस मंदिर का प्रवेश द्वार नई दिल्ली स्थित राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय में सुरक्षित रख दिया गया है।

            दोस्तों इस मंदिर की अद्भुत वास्तुकला , शिल्पकला व भव्यता अपने वैभवशाली इतिहास के बारे में अपने आप बहुत कुछ व्याख्यान कर देती है।साथ ही दोस्तों कुमाऊं में स्थित सभी प्राचीन मंदिरों  और यहां तक की सभी नये मंदिरों में यह सबसे ऊंचा और सबसे विशाल मंदिर है।दोस्तों प्रकृति की खूबसूरत वादियों के बीच मौजूद यह मंदिर तीर्थयात्रियों के मन को बरबस ही मोह लेता है।

         

       दोस्तों यह प्राचीन मंदिर हमारे महान भारतीय संस्कृति का तो दर्शन कराता ही है व साथ ही में उत्तराखंड के राजाओं के गौरवशाली इतिहास का भी व्याख्यान अपने दर्शन मात्र से ही कर देता है।दोस्तों स्थानीय ग्रामीण व दूर-दूर से पर्यटक प्राचीन कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर में मौजूद भगवान सूर्य देव के दर्शन के लिए तथा भगवान का आशीर्वाद लेने के लिए पूरे वर्ष यहां आते रहते हैं।दोस्तों ऐसा माना जाता है कि श्रद्धा व सच्चे मन से मांगी गई मनोकामनाओं को सूर्यदेव जरूर पूरी करते हैं।

🔱 प्रचलित दंतकथाएं 🔱

 दोस्तों इस प्राचीन मंदिर से संबंधित एक प्रचलित स्थानीय दंतकथा भी मशहूर है जिसे स्थानीय ग्रामीण बहुत ही रोचक तरीके से यहां आने वाले पर्यटकों को सुनाते हैं। दोस्तों कथा के अनुसार माना जाता है कि उत्तराखंड के शांत हिमालय पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं में ऋषि मुनि सदैव अपनी तपस्या में लीन रहा करते थे लेकिन असुर ,व  राक्षस गण समय-समय पर उन पर आक्रमण कर उनकी तपस्या को भंग कर देते थे। अतः एक बार एक राक्षस के अत्याचार से परेशान होकर दूनागिरी पर्वत , कषाय पर्वत एवं कंजार पर्वत में रहने वाले ऋषि मुनियों ने कोसी नदी के तट पर आकर भगवान सूर्य देव की कठोर तपस्या की।अतः दोस्तों ऋषि-मुनियों की कठोर तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर सूर्यदेव ने उन्हें साक्षात दर्शन दिए तथा उन्हें राक्षसों से भय मुक्त किया।साथ ही साथ दोस्तों ऋषि-मुनियों के आग्रह पर सूर्य देव ने अपने तेज को यहीं पर मौजूद एक वट वृक्ष  स्थापित कर दिया।

                तभी से दोस्तों भगवान सूर्य देव यहीं पर मौजूद वट वृक्ष की लकड़ी से बने मूर्ति पर विराजमान हैं ।तथा कालांतर में आगे चलकर इसी जगह पर राजा कटारमल ने भगवान सूर्यदेव का भव्य मंदिर कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया। जो कालांतर में कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुआ।

 Hello friends, you will be surprised to know that our India is located on the high peaks of the Himalayas of Uttarakhand called Dev Bhoomi, Sakshat Lord Surya Dev which is world famous as Katarmal Sun Temple.  But Adheli is present in the village of Goldsmith. Friends, this ancient grand sun temple is situated at an elevation of about 2116 meters above sea level.  Friends, it is believed that this very ancient Sun Temple is about 200 years older than the Sun Temple of Konark in antiquity.

 It is surprising to friends that the idol of Lord Surya Dev present in this temple is not made of any metal or stone, but this idol is made of wood from the tree of Vat tree.

 Friends, as you all know that the Red God, the sun god riding on a seven horse chariot, is considered to be the most inspiring, omnipotent and all welfare.  Friends Lord Surya Dev is also called the 'soul' of 'Jagat'. Friends all over the world know that life on earth is possible only with Surya Dev and Suryadev is considered to be the main deity in the Navagrahas.  Friends, you must be aware that among all the Gods, only the Sun God is the only God who gives visions every day, so that the life cycle of all the world's creatures and trees plants goes on smoothly.

 Therefore friends, our religious texts have mentioned the importance of worshiping the sun god, like burning water and worshiping the rising sun god as friends in the morning is considered to be supreme. Believe it or not, God forbid the whole human race from Lord Suryadev.  Inspiration to keep moving without ceaselessly keeps on coming, no matter what the time may be.

 🔱Construction of ancient Katarmal Sun Temple🔱

 Friends, the construction of Katarmal Sun Temple is believed to be around 9th century, when the 'Katyuri' dynasty ruled in Uttarakhand. Friends, credit for the construction of this ancient temple goes to 'Katarmal' king of 'Katyuri' dynasty.  Friends, this ancient temple is known as Katarmal Sun Temple. Friends are one such legend.  In which it is said that this ancient temple was built by King Katarmal in a single night.

 Friends, the Archaeological Department of India has declared the ancient Katarmal Sun Temple as protected. Therefore, Friends, the Archaeological Department of India has taken the responsibility of maintenance and protection of this ancient temple.  The entrance to the sanctum sanctorum of the Friends temple is made of wood, which has been carved in a very beautiful way, which is the oldest specimen of high quality wood art. The two surprising thing is that now the entrance of this temple in the present time  The gate has been kept safe at the National Museum in New Delhi.

 Friends, a famous local legend related to this ancient temple is also famous, which the local villagers narrate to the tourists who come here in a very interesting way.  According to the friends legend, it is believed that in the serene Himalayan mountain ranges of Uttarakhand, sage Muni always used to indulge in his penance, but asuras, demons and demons attacked him from time to time and dissolved his austerity.  So, once disturbed by the tyranny of a demon, the sage sages residing in Doonagiri mountain, Kashaya mountain and Kanjar mountain came on the banks of river Kosi and did the harsh penance of Lord Surya Dev.  He gave him a darshan and freed him from the demons. At the request of friends and sages, Surya Dev set up his tree with a banyan tree present here.

 Since then, friends Lord Surya Dev has been seated on the idol made of the tree of the Vat tree here. And later on, at this place, King Katarmal built the magnificent temple of Lord Suryadev, the Katarmal Sun Temple.  Which later became famous as Katarmal Sun Temple.
