नमस्कार दोस्तों ककनमठ मंदिर एक अति प्राचीन भगवान शिव की मंदिर है जो मध्य प्रदेश के मुरैना में स्थित है दोस्तों इस मंदिर का निर्माण 11 वीं शताब्दी में ग्वालियर के कुशवाहा या कच्छघात वंश के महाराज कीर्तिराज कच्छघात में करवाया था।
दोस्तों ग्वालियर राज्य से लगभग 70 किलोमीटर दूर मुरैना जिले में सिहोनिया स्थित ककनमठ मंदिर अपने अद्भुत और अलौकिक वास्तुकला के कारण देसी विदेशी पर्यटकों के बीच आकर्षण का केंद्र बना हुआ है।दोस्तों कभी सिंहपनिया नगर कहे जाने वाले सिहोनिया विश्व पर्यटन के मानचित्र पर इसी मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता था।
दोस्तों इस मंदिर का निर्माण खजुराहो शैली में किया गया है क्योंकि दोस्तों यह मंदिर उत्तर नागर शैली में बना हुआ है। क्योंकि मंदिर निर्माण की इस रैली को उत्तर नागर शैली के नाम से ही जाना जाता था। क्योंकि आठवीं शताब्दी के दौरान मंदिरों का निर्माण नागर शैली में ही किया जाता रहा था दोस्तों ककनमठ मंदिर उत्तर नागर शैली का उत्कृष्ट नमूना है।
दोस्तों आप सभी को जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि इस मंदिर में चुनें , गारे और सीमेंट का उपयोग बिलकुल नहीं किया गया है। दोस्तों अद्भुत अलौकिक और रहस्यमई है यह मंदिर क्योंकि यह मंदिर एक विशेष प्रकार के पत्थरों का बना हुआ है।क्योंकि दोस्तों आश्चर्य करने वाली बात यह है कि इस प्रकार के पत्थर आज तक भारत के किसी भी कोने में देखने को नहीं मिला है। दोस्तों यह मंदिर कैसे बना है इस बात का जवाब अच्छे-अच्छे इंजिनियर्स के पास भी नहीं है।
दोस्तों यह विशाल और अद्भुत मंदिर वाकई किसी आश्चर्य से कम नहीं है क्योंकि दोस्तों इस मंदिर के पत्थरों के बीच ना तो कोई चुनां है और नहीं सीमेंट सारे के सारे पत्थर एक के ऊपर एक कतारबद्ध रूप से रखे गए हैं। साथ ही साथ दोस्तों इस मंदिर को अंदर से देखना वाकई में अद्भुत है।
दोस्तों स्थानीय किंवदंतियों के अनुसार माना जाता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण रहस्यमई तरीके से भूतों ने एक रात में ही किया था।लेकिन दोस्तों इस मंदिर को बनाते बनाते सुबह हो गई थी जिस कारण से भूतों को मंदिर निर्माण का कार्य अधूरा छोड़कर जाना पड़ा था। दोस्तों आज भी इस मंदिर को देखने में कुछ ऐसा ही लगता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण अधूरा ही रह गया था।
लेकिन दोस्तों इतिहासकारों का मानना है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण 11 वीं शताब्दी में कुशवाहा वंश के राजा कीर्तिराज ने करवाया था। दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोत बताते हैं कि करीब 1000 वर्ष पहले सिहोनिया कुशवाहा राजपूतों की राजधानी हुआ करती थी। दोस्तों इस समय काल में शासन करने वाले इस क्षेत्र के राजा कीर्तिराज कच्छघात भगवान शिव के परम भक्त थे और उनकी पत्नी भी भगवान शिव की अनन्य भक्त थी। दोस्तों राजा कीर्तिराज की पत्नी का नाम ककनावती थीं। उन्हीं के नाम पर इस मंदिर का नाम ककनमठ मंदिर पड़ा।दोस्तों उस जमाने में आसपास कोई शिवालय ना होने के कारण रानी को भगवान शिव की उपासना में दिक्कत होती थी तब रानी के कहने पर ही राजा कीर्तिराज राज ने इस अद्भुत और अलौकिक मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया था।
दोस्तों कुछ भी हो यह मंदिर हमारे पूर्वजों का अनुपम धरोहर है ऐसा मंदिर बहुत ही कम देखने को मिलता है। दोस्तों हमारे पूर्वज इस प्रकार के वास्तुकला और मंदिर निर्माण की कला में बहुत ही निपुण थे तभी तो इस प्रकार के अद्भुत और अलौकिक रहस्यमई मंदिरों का निर्माण पूरे भारतवर्ष में किया था।।
