 नमस्कार दोस्तों गुजरात के मेहसाणा जिले में स्थित मोढेरा गांव में मौजूद प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर पुष्पावती नदी के तट पर मौजूद है जो अपने अद्भुत वास्तुकला के लिए विश्वविख्यात है।

    (  ऐतिहासिकता  )

दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों से पता चलता है कि सन 1026 ईसवी में सोलंकी वंश के राजा भीमदेव सूर्यवंशी द्वारा बनवाया गया था।दोस्तों इस प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर को मारु - गुर्जर यानी चालुक्य शैली में बनाया गया है।

दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि क्रूर आक्रमणकारी महमूद गजनी द्वारा इस प्राचीन  मंदिर को लूटा गया था एवं ध्वस्त किया गया था ।लेकिन दोस्तों फिर भी इस प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर की भव्यता में कोई कमी नहीं आई है।

            दोस्तों यह प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर भगवान सूर्य को समर्पित है दोस्तों पारंपरिक रूप से घोड़ो द्वारा रथ को खींचते हुए भगवान सूर्य को चित्रित किया गया है। दोस्तों  अक्सर सात की संख्या में मौजूद रथ से जुड़े घोड़े प्रकाश के सातों रंगों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। दोस्तों एक मान्यता यह भी है कि सातों घोड़े सप्ताह के 7 दिनों का भी प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं।

              दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि सनातन हिंदू धर्म के पवित्र वैदिक ग्रंथ सूर्य को ऊर्जा, जीवन शक्ति और जीवन के स्रोतों के रूप में संदर्भित करता है जो हमारे जीवन के पाठ्यक्रम को नियंत्रित करता है।

         दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि यह पूरा का पूरा प्राचीन मंदिर कमल के फूल के आकार की संरचना पर खड़ा है और अद्भुत रूप से इसकी हर इंच की दूरी पर दीवारों में नुकीले और विस्तृत नक्काशी की गई है। दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से मंदिर के दीवारों पर की गई नक्काशी हमारे पवित्र ग्रंथों  रामायण से लेकर पवित्र महाकाव्य महाभारत तक और मनुष्य के जीवन चक्र से लेकर काम सूत्र की व्याख्या तक हिंदू संस्कृति के हर हिस्से का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है।

          दोस्तों इस की जटिल नक्काशी और शानदार आयतकार सीढिदार कुआं जो कि 21000 वर्ग फुट क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है अपने अद्भुत संरचना के कारण विश्व विख्यात है।

  दोस्तों यह प्राचीन सूर्य मंदिर तीन अलग-अलग घटकों म बटा हुआ है।

 प्रथम-  गुडा मंडप 

 द्वितीय - सभा मंडप

 तृतीय -  सूर्य मंडप 

 प्रथम-  गुडा मंडप-  दोस्तों गुडा मंडप के प्रवेश द्वार को खूबसूरती से नक्काशी दार खंभों और मेहराबों से सजाया गया है। दोस्तों आपको जानकर दुख होगा कि क्रूर मुस्लिम आक्रमणकारी महमूद गजनी ने इस पर आक्रमण कर लूट लिया था दोस्तों महमूद गजनी के आक्रमण से पहले इस मंडप में भगवान सूर्य की अद्भुत मूर्ति मौजूद थी , जिसे वह अपने साथ लेकर चला गया था। दोस्तों वर्तमान में इस प्राचीन मंदिर के दीवारों पर सूर्य देवता के अलग-अलग रूपों को दर्शाया गया है।

 द्वितीय-  सभा मंडप-  दोस्तों मंदिर का वह क्षेत्र जहां पर धार्मिक समारोह का आयोजन हुआ करता था। दोस्तों सभा मंडप एक समानांतर चतुर्भुज आकार का क्षेत्र है जो अद्भुत रूप से एक तारे जैसे संरचना का आभास कराता है। जिसमें दोस्तों 42 जटिल नक्काशीदार स्तंभ है जो वर्ष के 42 सप्ताहों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते है।

 तृतीय-  सूर्य कुंड-  दोस्तों इस प्राचीन कुंड को "राम कुंड" के नाम से भी जाना जाता है दोस्तों यह कुंड सीढ़ियों द्वारा  कुंड के तल तक जाता है।दोस्तों प्राचीन काल में यह कुंडे जलाशय के रूप में उपयोग में लाया जाता था। दोस्तों यह  जलकुंड एक भूमिगत जल स्रोत द्वारा जुड़ा हुआ है।

              दोस्तों सूर्य कुंड के सीढ़ियों पर अनेक वैष्णव देवी देवताओं जैसे माता शीतला भवानी की मूर्तियों को दर्शाते हुए लगभग 108 लघु मंदिर मौजूद हैं जो सूर्य कुंड को अद्भुत और आकर्षक बनाते हैं।

 दोस्तों सन 2014 में इस 1000 साल पुराने सूर्य मंदिर को यूनेस्को के विश्व धरोहर स्थल के रूप में शामिल किया गया है।

     दोस्तों वर्तमान में यह प्राचीन ने सूर्य मंदिर भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग के देखरेख में है।

 Friends, historical sources reveal that it was built by King Bhimdev Suryavanshi of the Solanki dynasty in 1026 AD. Friends, this ancient Sun temple has been built in the Maru-Gurjara i.e. Chalukya style.

 Friends, you will be surprised to know that this ancient temple was looted and demolished by the cruel invader Mahmud Ghazni.

 Friends, this ancient Sun temple is dedicated to Lord Surya. Traditionally, Lord Surya is depicted pulling the chariot by horses.  Friends, often the horses associated with the chariot present in the number seven represent the seven colors of light.  Friends, there is also a belief that the seven horses also represent the 7 days of the week.

 Friends, you will be surprised to know that the sacred Vedic text of Sanatan Hinduism refers to the Sun as the sources of energy, vitality and life which controls the course of our life.

 Friends, you will be surprised to know that this entire ancient temple stands on a lotus flower shaped structure and wonderfully its every inch of space has sharp and elaborate carvings in the walls.  Friends, the amazing carvings on the walls of the temple represent every part of Hindu culture from our sacred texts, Ramayana to the holy epic Mahabharata and from the life cycle of man to the interpretation of the Kama Sutra.

 Friends, its intricate carvings and magnificent rectangular step well which is spread over an area of ​​21000 square feet is world famous due to its amazing structure.

 Second-Sabha Mandap - Friends, the area of ​​​​the temple where religious ceremonies used to be held.  Friends Sabha Mandap is a parallelogram shaped area which wonderfully gives the appearance of a star like structure.  It has 42 intricately carved pillars representing the 42 weeks of the year.

 दोस्तों स्थानीय कि किंवदंतियों के अनुसार माना जाता है कि प्रसिद्ध पौराणिक महाभारत के युद्ध से ठीक पहले अर्जुन ने इसी पहाड़ी पर भगवान शिव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए कठोर तपस्या की थी। दोस्तों कहां जाता है कि भगवान शिव प्रसन्न होकर वे अर्जुन के सामने प्रकट हुए और वरदान में सबसे शातिर शत्रुओं का वध करने के लिए सर्वशक्तिमान "पाशुपत" अस्त्र प्रदान किया था।

     दोस्तों यह पूरा मंदिर परिसर सन 2011 में विधिवत प्राण प्रतिष्ठा हो जाने के बाद भक्तजनों के लिए खोल दिया गया था। दोस्तों माना जाता है कि भगवान शिव की महानता  का गुणगान करने के लिए ही मंदिरों के इन समूहों का भव्य निर्माण किया गया है।

           दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से 108 फीट ऊंची शिव की प्रतिमा मानो ऐसा लगता है जैसे कंचनजंघा घाटी और सूदूरवर्ती हिमालय की घाटियों को अपनी छत्रछाया में लिए हुए हैं।

                  दोस्तों 12 प्रमुख शिव मंदिरों  या पवित्र ज्योतिर्लिंगों से घिरा आधुनिक जटिल कलाकृति और नक्काशी के साथ मथुरा स्कूल ऑफ आर्ट का परिसर शिव पुराण और अन्य शास्त्रों को  आधुनिक तरीके से चलचित्र के रूप में को प्रदर्शित करता है।दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से यहां मौजूद प्रत्येक ज्योतिर्लिंग भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है।

  दोस्तों आश्चर्यजनक रूप से मंदिर परिसर में उत्तराखंड की पवित्र बद्री नाथ मंदिर , द्वारका का सोमनाथ मंदिर जहां भगवान सोमनाथ अपने सामान्य मुद्रा में विराजमान है। दोस्तों उड़ीसा राज्य का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए जगन्नाथ पुरी के प्रभु जगन्नाथ , बलभद्र और उनकी बहन सुभद्रा  की प्रतिकृति मूर्तियां स्थापित है। दोस्तों तमिलनाडु राज्य का रामेश्वरम मंदिर जो भगवान राम की मूर्ति द्वारा सुशोभित है।

 दोस्तों ऐसा माना जाता है कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने जीवन में पवित्र चार धाम और 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों के दर्शन हेतु यात्रा नहीं कर सकता ।इसलिए दोस्तों सिक्किम के सिद्धेश्वर धाम में चारों पवित्र धामों और पवित्र 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों को एक ही स्थान पर प्राण- प्रतिष्ठित किया गया है। ताकि श्रद्धालु गण एक ही स्थान पर सभी पवित्र धामों का दर्शन कर सकें। दोस्तों पवित्र सिद्धेश्वर धाम मंदिर परिसर का वातावरण शांत व भक्ति पूर्ण है।

 Friends Siddheshwar Dham which is known as Char Dham Temple in Sikkim Friends surprisingly this holy place is the confluence of all religious and holy places of India.

 Friends, there exists an extraordinary temple on the outskirts of a small village "Namchi" in Sikkim, where thousands of devotees come to visit every day.  Friends, this holy temple is called Siddheshwar Dham or Char Dham because of its spiritual importance.  Friends, beautiful idols of Mother Ganga and Yamuna are installed in the center of the temple complex. Friends, this temple complex is representing the four Dhams of our India.
