नमस्कार दोस्तों मैं माउंटेन लैपर्ड महेंद्रा आप सभी लोगों का हार्दिक अभिनंदन करता हूं दोस्तों आज की यात्रा पर मैं लेकर चल रहा हूं अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर जोकि कर्नाटक के दुरदराज इलाके में मौजूद हैं ।

दोस्तों अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर जोकि भारत के कर्नाटक राज्य के चिकमगलूर जिले से 67 किलोमीटर उत्तर में अमृतपुरा गांव में स्थित है , हासन से 110 किलोमीटर एन. एच 206 शिमोगा से 50 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित अमृतपुरा गांव भगवान शिव के अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर के लिए जाना जाता है । दोस्तों इस मंदिर का निर्माण 1196 ई. में होयसला राजा वीर बल्लाला दि्वतीय अमृतेश्वर दंदनायका द्वारा बनवाया गया था।
दोस्तों कर्नाटक के दुरदराज इलाके में मौजूद यह गांव काफी छोटा है। दोस्तों यह गांव होयसाल राजवंश द्वारा निर्मित एक बहुत ही सुंदर और स्थापत्यकला के दृष्टिकोण से बहुत ही अद्भुत और अलौकिक मंदिर जिसे हम सभी अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर के नाम से जानते हैं के लिए प्रसिद्ध है । दोस्तों यह मंदिर भगवान शिव को समर्पित है । दोस्तों इस मंदिर का निर्माण एक सेनापति द्वारा राजा बल्लाला दि्वतीय अमृतेश्वरा दंडनायका के शासनकाल में किया गया था । दोस्तों यह मंदिर भद्रा नदी के जलाशय के नज़दीक बना हुआ है । दोस्तों यह चारों ओर से नारियल और ताड़ के पेड़ों से घिरा हुआ है। जिससे मंदिर के खूबसूरती में चार-चांद लग जाती हैं।
दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि मंदिर में स्थापित भगवान शिव को नेपाल के गंडक नदी से लाया गया था। दोस्तों अद्भुत रूप से भगवान शिव के दाईं ओर माता शारदा देवी की मूर्ति स्थित है । साथ ही साथ दोस्तों सबसे आश्चर्य करने वाली बात यह है कि अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर के अंदर एक दीपक 200 वर्षों से से लगातार जल रहा है। दोस्तों यह दीपक प्रत्येक दिन लगभग एक लीटर तेल की खपत करता है।
दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोत बताते हैं कि 11 वीं और 14 वीं शताब्दी के बीच बनें इस क्षेत्र के सभी मंदिरों को होयसाल सम्राज्य द्वारा बनवाया गया था। दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक दस्तावेजों से पता चलता है कि इस युग के कारीगरों के पास अपनी खुद की एक अनूठी तकनीक थीं , जो उन्होंने उस कालखंड के सभी मंदिरों का निर्माण करते समय प्रयोग किया था या अपनाई थी। दोस्तों देखा जाए तो एक मंदिर आमतौरपर निम्नलिखित विशेषताओं से संपन्न होता हैं । खासकर मंदिरों के शिखर पर स्थित पुष्प को नक्काशीदार बनाया जाता था , साथ ही साथ मंदिर में मौजूद मंडपों का निर्माण, व मंडल को जटील रूप से तैयार स्तंभों पर खड़ा किया जाता था । दोस्तों अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर को एकल विमान शैली में बनाया गया है । दोस्तों ऐतिहासिक स्रोतों की मानें तो " रूवरी मल्लितालम " नाम के एक प्रसिद्ध मूर्तिकार ने अपने इस कला या नौकरी की शुरुआत इसी मंदिर से की थी ।
दोस्तों आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि अमृतेश्वरा मंदिर में बहुत सारी अनुठी विशेषताएं मौजूद है , जो इसे अन्य होयसल वंश द्वारा बनाये गये मंदिरों से अलग खड़ा करती है , दोस्तों सबसे आश्चर्य करने वाली विशेषता है मंदिर के अंदर मौजूद चमकते हुए खंभे या स्तंभ जो मंदिर के छत को मजबूती से पकड़े हुए है। दोस्तों इन खंभों को देखकर लगता ही नहीं है कि इनका निर्माण मनुष्यों ने किया होगा , दोस्तों इस तरह का निर्माण वर्तमान समय के आधुनिक युग में भी संभव नहीं है । दोस्तों मंदिर में एक विशाल पत्थर का शिलालेख मौजूद है , जिसपर कन्नड़ भाषा में मंदिर का इतिहास और कन्नड़ काव्य वर्णित हैं जो उस युग के महान कवियों के ज्ञान को दर्शाता हैं।
धन्यवाद दोस्तों मुझे नहीं लगता कि इन मंदिरों का निर्माण मनुष्यों ने किया होगा , बल्कि इन मंदिरों का निर्माण दैवीय शक्तियों ने किया होगा । फिर भी दोस्तो ये हमारे पूर्वजों के अलौकिक और अनुपम धरोहर हैं जिसे बचाकर रखना हमारा परम कर्तव्य है ।

Friends, this village is famous for a very beautiful and supernatural temple built by the Hoysala dynasty and a very supernatural temple which we all know by the name of Amriteshwara Temple. Friends, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Friends, this temple was built by a commander during the reign of King Ballala Divati Amriteshwara Dandanayaka. Friends, this lamp consumes about one liter of oil every day.
